Bucky

[personal profile] jamesbarnes 2013-06-20 06:34 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'10

2) Weight: 155lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes, dark brown hair.

4) Age: Recently turned 24.

5) Physical features: His most prominent physical feature is that he's a total babe.

6) Voice: Bucky has a Brooklyn accent that's pretty easy to pick up on for those who are familiar with it, but it's not not overly thick/prominent. I usually chalk this up to him spending half his life in Indiana before he moved to New York.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with Steve, and more recently Henry. All the boys take care of their own laundry and so forth, but Bucky usually cooks (a lot, since Steve has the metabolism of a furnace) and Steve does the dishes. They both help Henry out with chores when necessary.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: He does all the cooking. He's the designated house wife. 8| His favorite food is pizza but he's still trying to sort out how to make it. He also likes chocolate, pancakes, and sweet pastries in general.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: If he's at home, he'll make breakfast and pack lunch for Henry (once he moves in), take care of chores, go to the battle dome for training, then spend the afternoon chatting up friends, or pulling shifts at the coffee shop. He's usually back home to make dinner (or bring takeout) and then spends his evenings with either Steve or Natasha. Sometimes he spends the night at her place but he usually comes home by afternoon.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Slacks and a button-up shirt, sometimes suspenders or something more modern if Natasha wants him to be adventurous. Jeans are a favorite. He also borrows Steve's clothes when he doesn't want to do laundry or when he feels like it so he's liberated a lot of t-shirts, too.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Dancing was always his favorite thing to do. He's been reading more in Luceti, mostly trying to catch up on history. Cooking sort of became a hobby, too.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Do threesomes count?

Luceti definitely shook the foundations of who he is, most obviously during the zombie draft because he did something he would have never even thought he was capable of - killing (zombie) Steve. Aside from the massive guilt/loss complex that saddled him with, he also tends to accept outlandish stories far more readily now. There was some weirdness in his own world, but it was pseudoscience, so straight-up mind games, magic, monsters, gods and talking ponies? Literally nothing is impossible and, honestly, he tries not to think about that too much.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: There's a rifle, a handgun in his room, a combat knife, and a collection of throwing knives in his room. He doesn't usually carry weapons with him around the village, unless you count the occasional pocket knife, and that's not intended for combat.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: He has Steve, and now Henry, why would he want another pair of puppy eyes aimed at him?

15) Who are their neighbors?: Spence used to be their neighbor and Bucky liked him a lot. Now they've got Aldreios Neruyl, who Bucky also hasn't met.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Steve and Pepper. He does everything with Steve, so they basically spend most of their time sassing each other and hanging out. He mostly gossips with Pepper and they talk about their feelings sometimes, which is super weird. Because men don't have feelings.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? He occasionally... interacts with Loki but he doesn't like that he pushes Steve's buttons or, you know, the mass genocide in his old hometown. He's pretty good about not starting anything though, which is kinda helped by the fact that they met during events and he doesn't know what to make of having a dance-off with the enemy.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Battle dome, coffee shop, good spirits.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Not really. :|a He might start a baseball thing soon though.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Dark blue with white tips. He mostly ignores them, but during drafts they're usually tucked away under his jacket.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not really? He's maintained the same weight through training and he's done growing.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: The simplicity. He liked fighting for something he believed in, alongside Steve and the Howling Commandos, and feeling like he had a real purpose/was accomplishing something important. He also misses feeling like he might have a future when it was all over - and that it would eventually over.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His handwriting is legible, though nothing special. He sounds roughly the same.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nah.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Well making time with every pretty lady in the game is kinda out now.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Upgrade. He finds technology pretty interesting so he adapts to it readily, but he still gets help with more complicated things.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He likes beer and generally drinks it when he's happy. Let's just say he drinks a lot more hard liquor than beer and, even if he's joking around, what he's drinking is a good indication of his actual mood.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's a good sniper and soldier in general. Nothing superhuman, but pretty high up there for accuracy and skill. He was also the local welterweight boxing champ before he enlisted. Despite - or because of - his charm he's also a good liar when he needs to be.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Knife throwing and marked improvements in his accuracy from Clint + almost daily practice, and some more modern mixed martial arts/assassination from Natasha. They also talk about infiltration and espionage techniques pretty extensively.

Part of the reason is being surrounded by everything from people who call down storm clouds to literal ancient gods. How do you even pretend to stack up against that, as a normal human? Then there's also the fact that he's felt so helpless to protect some of the people he's closest to, and while he knows it will happen again, it won't be because he didn't work hard enough to be good enough to help them. He pushes himself really hard, constantly, because he feels like it's really the minimum he can do.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He pretty much goes into fights with a kind of 'us or them' mentality. His main focus is protecting his allies and getting through everything, so he'll kill when necessary - he doesn't go out of his way to avoid it unless someone is obviously unarmed/injured/taken out of the fight some other way.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He's usually pretty focused and professional on missions, and likes to use them to practice/hone skills both new and old. He doesn't have much in the way of material needs, so he usually passes his points on to his friends.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: About six months now, I think? He doesn't really have anything to go home to so he's not interested in leaving, personally, but he does think it's a bad place for people he cares about so he'll help them get home any way he can.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Hard liquor. Because that's a healthy coping mechanism. He also tends to shut up by himself but if people come to visit him he's not past lying his way through it so they'll leave him alone to sulk. Sulking typically only lasts a day or two, then he'll spend the following week or so training much harder than usual until he's just an exhausted pile of bruises.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? That time he came back as a lady was kinda both.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Steve is a giant boob pass it on.

Jack "of the Tales" Horner

[personal profile] originaljackass 2013-06-20 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 6’2. It’s never stated in canon, but Jack tends to look like a fairly tall guy for the most part. So I just gave him the same height as his PB.

2) Weight: About 200 lbs. He’s a pretty muscular guy.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: His eyes are always black dots in the comics, so I’m going to say green. He’s blonde.

4) Age: He has history on Earth for over three hundred years but his stories suggest he is over a thousand years old (and most other Fables are around that age or more). Physically he appears to be in his late twenties.

5) Physical features: He looks more or less like he does in his icons. He DOES have a ponytail like in the comics and when it’s undone, his hair is pretty long.

6) Voice: He has no canon voice, but he does have a New York accent. If it helps, just imagine him with Josh Holloway’s voice. (But if the Telltales games has voice acting and he’s in it, then he might have something official!)

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:

Jack lives with just Clementine, but generally speaking there are no chores to be done since Jack is not a model of clean housekeeping. He’ll throw stuff away when it gets to be too much. Since there’s a shared kitchen, he never actually cleans up his messes, leaving that for his poor hapless floormates to deal with. It’s probably Clementine is the only one who makes real efforts to try and be tidy.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

Jack loves him some American food. Since his Fable immortality keeps him always looking attractive and fit, he can basically eat whatever he wants without ever gaining weight. So he tends to eat a lot of junk food and greasy stuff. Hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, and so on.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:

Jack works at Good Spirits and spends a lot of his time there either serving drinks or getting drinks served to him. When he’s not there, he tends to just sort of hang around the plaza where he’ll shop for things he won’t take home. He’s a heavy socializer and he’s always on the lookout to meet new people women.

10) Their general sense of fashion:

When Jack wants to impress somebody, he’ll throw on a three piece suit, slick back his hair, and look for all the world like a man who oozes confidence and success. Other days he just tends to wear a pair of blue jeans and a T-Shirt.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:

Jack’s favorite thing to do is have lots of sex. And in Luceti, he gets to have it sometimes! Not as often as he’d like, but he’s doing pretty well for himself. He also enjoys social drinking, watching Mundy TV, and good old fashioned partying. While nobody throws the kind of parties he likes in Luceti, he does get to do some of the other things.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:

Given he’s past his point of death and has little to nothing to go back to, Jack has had a kind of ‘awakening’ about Luceti being his new life. He’s embraced it. As before, he still is very open about the fact he’s a Fable, even though that’s something forbidden to talk about back home. But because of the nature of his death, Jack has been trying to turn a new leaf and be a ‘better person’. This is has been done with moderate levels of success, as his attempts to do good tend to be just as destructive as his attempts to do bad.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:

Jack has an old fashioned pistol from his days as an outlaw in the Wild West. The six-shooter may not be much compared to modern firearms, but Jack still has the skills of a quickdraw. He usually keeps it on his person, though usually as a concealed weapon if he can manage it. He also has the sword Excalibur which he keeps in his magic ‘bigger on the inside’ briefcase. He doesn’t tend to carry his briefcase all the time, so he doesn’t always have the sword with him.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:

Babe the ‘giant ox’ was reduced to the size of a dog back in Golden Boughs due to Paul Bunyan’s misbehaving. Through a series of circumstances, Babe ended up following Jack everywhere and became something of his ‘loyal pet’. In actuality Babe is quite an intelligent beast and spends his time daydreaming, usually narrating incredible events in his mind. But he never talks to anyone and for all intents acts like a dumb animal. Jack has no idea who the little blue ox is and tends to just call it a ‘blue pig’.

Clementine recently named him ‘Ben’. He didn’t seem to notice or care.

15) Who are their neighbors?:

Madame Vastra shares the same floor. She has a super sexy voice. She’s also a lizard woman. Sadness.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?

Presently, Buffy Summers is the only person he could really call a friend or even a ‘best friend’ and this is largely by virtue of her being someone who can put up with him. He considers people like Asch and Anya as ‘friends’, but they likely don’t feel the same. There’s also Effie and Adalinda with whom he has slept with.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?

Jack doesn’t get along with a lot of people and they tend to very adamantly voice their disdain for his attitude. But Jack can’t be bothered to remember who these people are. Who even cares?

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:

Good Spirits (where he works), Seventh Heaven (source of most meals), the Hot Springs (for hot babe action), and Buffy’s house (she has a TV).

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?

Nope. Jack is a free agent.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:

Jack has cut holes in his clothes to make room for the wings, though sometimes he’ll wear a jacket over them. In general he doesn’t seem to care much about them though he finds they are exceptionally stimulating during sex.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:

Nope!

22) What do they miss the most from home?:

An entire world full of women who had never met or heard of him. It’s hard to philander your way through the world with a population of like twenty women that are age appropriate for him.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:

Pretty messy. Jack doesn’t like to write and when he does, it’s just unfortunate to read since he pays little attention to spelling or punctuation or even making his letters look like letters. He uses commas like a madman.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:

He’s much more charming in person.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:

His return to Luceti has inspired him to be a ‘better person’ and his basic goal is just to stay in this world, live forever, and have lots of sex.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:

A bit of both. Jack misses having cars, but the fact there’s nowhere to go means he doesn’t get too upset about the loss of them. He does miss having his own TV to watch and he’s making efforts to fix that.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:

Jack is particular about his drinks and he likes to savor the ‘finer things’ when he can. So while Jack may drink a beer or two, he may pick out an expensive and well aged wine to share with someone else. He has a good alcohol tolerance and can usually knock away a few drinks before he gets intoxicated. He prefers Good Spirits, but only because he had Cloud Nine stolen from him.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:

Having lived over a thousand years, Jack has accumulated quite a number of talents. For instance, he’s a pretty skilled computer programmer, he’s a quickdraw with a gun, he is an exceptional card shark, a decent musician and singer, a talented bartender, a skilled movie producer, a masterful lover, and he knows his way around a sword.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?

He’s brushed up his bartending skills quite a bit since he came back to Luceti. He’s also learning how to be a parent!!!

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?

Jack doesn’t like going on drafts, but when he does? He’ll request heavy weaponry, like a P90, and just mow down his enemies. He’s merciless and shows little remorse for anyone he has to kill. In general he’ll hang around other people because if war is good for one thing, it’s a great opportunity to swoop in and save people and look like a big hero. Dude loves being a big hero.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?

Missions are still new for Jack. He tends to do what he’s told, but he puts no special effort into it. He’s known to sleep with his fellow volunteers if he and she get a chance to slip off somewhere quiet for a bit. However he’s generally keeping an eye out for opportunities to escape.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:

Overall, he’s been in Luceti for a year, but he’s only been back for about four months. Overall it’s made him pretty comfortable with the village and he even sort of likes it.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?

Do some boozing and if he’s lucky, find someone to sleep with.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?

The Luceti Valley experiment triggered part of his popularity curse and ended with him turning into a huge dragon. He was stuck like that for a few months and died because of it. He hated that. But he also got to have sex with Buffy in that same experiment, so that was also good?

36) Anything else you want to note?:

Jack tends to make quite an impression on people just because of his fundamental nature. For instance, many often have noted how his eyes show a depth of age that betrays his body.
“Completely unimpressed eyes, like there wasn’t anything he hadn’t already seen a million times before.” When he wants to he, has an incredible presence and just owns any room he is in. People can’t help but be attracted to him. This is partially thanks to his ‘popularity power’ which tends to sort of bend reality around him. Because Luceti halves his power, aspects of this are diminished. But there’s still aspects of it there to be played with.

1) Height: 5'1" (He's a midget.)

2) Weight: 104 lbs.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Plum eyes, black hair in a side pigtail.

4) Age: He's 16 in canon, and coming up on his 20th birthday next month. Whoaaa....

5) Physical features: Not really. He keeps himself pretty well covered. He may have scars underneath all those clothes from the vicious training and beatings he took as a child.

6) Voice: Jay hands Cashel's ass to him on a silver platter. His voice actor is Steve Staley.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives alone, so he does all the chores.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: He still likes the scallops. He's not too picky otherwise, though.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Most of the time he stays home, checking his journal for Malnosso stuff, or people to troll, but even all of that is losing its appeal. Occasionally he'll train at the Battle Dome. And less frequently, he'll visit the ducks at the lake.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Jay doesn't care about wearing different clothes. His usual canon getup is fine with him.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: His hobbies are dwindling lately. All he has left is the duck-watching at the lake.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: He's become even more cynical than ever.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He carries his daggers all the time, as well as a few smoke bombs. Never know when he'll need to strategically retreat.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Jay has a small black kitten that he got for Christmas. It stays at home most of the time, but occasionally Jay will bring it out to explore.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Heh, Jay still has the entire floor to himself in C3, Room 10.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? At this point, the only friends he has left are Norma and Grune, and he hardly sees them anymore. All the other friends he's made have gone home. There are still a few people left, some of his tolerable people (Luke Skywalker, Steve Rogers, etc.) that he's drifted away from.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? He hardly gets along with anyone else. He's a trolling brat most of the time, but he's kept to himself so much, he may as well be unseen.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: His apartment, the Battle Dome, the duck lake.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Not at all.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: He keeps them carefully tucked underneath his clothing to protect them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not really. No matter how old he gets, he'll probably never grow any taller. He keeps his hair the same way it was when he got here. He'll trim it when it gets too long.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: The Oresoren first and foremost. The rest of his group, all being together, all the picnics and parties they used to have. Just the life he had on the Legacy.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His writing is about the same as his speech. I'm sure Jay would keep his writing neat and legible.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: I would hardly think so. He's a blunt little brat.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He still wants to get home, but he's growing more frustrated with the fact that he can't. Until then, he'll try to take care of his kitten.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Sort of a sidegrade, maybe? He's adapted well.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He's still not of drinking age yet.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's a fighter, a tricky one at that. He's skilled with daggers and booby traps in battle. On top of that, he's a brilliant strategist and information gatherer.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Jay hasn't cared to learn anything new here.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Jay tends to scout the area on his own. He'll fight by himself most of the time as well, since he doesn't trust anyone else. But he makes sure not to let himself get too overwhelmed by enemies.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He hasn't been on any missions.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Within his first few months, he's been pushed back into his shell that he had just come out of in canon. And he's never been able to come back out since.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He goes back to sulking at home, occasionally ranting on the journal about how Luceti sucks.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Jay hates all the experiments. But if he had to pick a worst experience, it would have to be when he was forced to be a princess, and then being kidnapped by his own comrades. The "Bowser Bunch" thing ticked him off, too.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Uh...let's do something cool?

he's on the luceti art club wiki roster thing yeah!

at some point there should be some sort of catch-all log for 7th heaven workers for like, idk, a month in particular, so we can all do stuff.
ledbythewind: (Smiling King)

Richard

[personal profile] ledbythewind 2013-06-20 07:28 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'10"

2) Weight: Currently around 130 lbs. He toes the line between being just plain skinny and being actually underweight.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blond hair, hazel eyes, despite what some of his icons might show. He had one red eye for Plot Reasons, but that's no longer the case in Luceti.

4) Age: He's now 22; he arrived in Luceti at age 19.

5) Physical features: As mentioned above, Richard is a scrawny little thing at the moment. He's got perpetual dark circles beneath his eyes, and his skin is very much on the pale side. In sum, he looks like he's not in the best of health, which would be an accurate assessment. He also has a single stubborn bang that has a tendency to stick up no matter what he does with it.

6) Voice: Over here!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with Asbel, Isamu, and Pascal, and he does some chores as well as about half of the cooking. With four people in the house, the chores get divided up pretty evenly.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: NATTO TOAST, much to everyone else's dismay. It's the one thing he's almost always guaranteed to eat no matter how stressed he is. The cooking is usually divided between him and Isamu, since they're the only ones with any real experience in that department thanks to working at Seventh Heaven.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: If he has a shift at Seventh Heaven, he'll go to that; aside from that, he tends to be on the reclusive side and spends most of his free time at home either sleeping or reading or hanging with his friends. And doing chores/cooking dinner, of course.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Think the slightly dressier side of Japanese/Asian fashion and you've pretty much got it, with a preference for bold prints and bright colors. (It's all Isamu's fault.)

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Richard plays the violin and reads, both of which were hobbies he had back in his world. He hasn't touched his violin in a while, though. He's also learned how to cook, which he puts to use while feeding his household.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Very much yes, for the negative. He's pretty much been soured on romance and the concept of happy endings in general. Well, to be more specific, he believes in happy endings, just not for himself. His overall outlook on things has become even more pessimistic than it was previously

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: A rapier (yes, that is considered a rapier), which is left at home most of the time. He's skilled with cryas artes/magic too, so he doesn't need it.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Graces House has a cat named Tiger Festival; now that Cheria is gone, Richard has sort of adopted her as "his" and dotes on her. She stays at home, though.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Moraine and Siuan on one side, Bulma and Vegeta on the other, and the Uzumaki family across the road.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Asbel is Richard's best friend from his world, and Isamu is the best friend he made here. Richard is clingy. VERY clingy. He's with one or both of them almost constantly; it's rare that he's too far apart from either one of them. They're the most important people in his life, period. He shares a room with Isamu and the two of them both work at Seventh Heaven together... hell, they do pretty much everything together. Pascal is also a good friend from home, though slightly lesser on the scale than Asbel or Isamu.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Not really? Richard is a pretty easy-going guy for the most part; it isn't often that he doesn't get along with someone.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Seventh Heaven and his house. He lives a wild life, really.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Nope.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Green, and he mostly just ignores them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: His hair is a bit longer and he's lost a considerable amount of weight. He weighed around 148 lbs when he first arrived and he's 130 lbs now.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Lhant Hill and the sopherias there, and also the hill to the north of Barona Castle where he goes to clear his head.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: BLARGH I actually had an example of his handwriting and now I can't find it. It's very neat and proper, because that's what's expected of a king. His tutors made sure of that much. His writing tends to be a bit more formal than his speech for the same reason, though they're still quite similar.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really; Richard is Richard, regardless of the medium. He's a little goofier in person sometimes, but he trolls over the journals too.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He's bringing Isamu back home with them come hell or high water, whatever it takes. As far as losing goals... he's pretty much given up on the idea of him ever getting to be happy and has decided to focus entirely on the welfare of the people of Windor and of Ephinea in general.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Upgrade; electricity isn't really a thing in Ephinea (they use cryas lamps and stuff like that). He's adapted well for the most part, with no unfortunate exploding potato incidents.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: ANYTHING WITH TEQUILA IN IT AND THAT IS ALL SHERYL'S FAULT. No, really, Richard isn't picky. If it has alcohol in it, he'll drink it, since he isn't exactly drinking for the taste. He tends to frequent Good Spirits a few times a week; drinking is (sadly) one of the few coping mechanisms he has, meaning he indulges in it more frequently than he really should. He drinks to get drunk, because being drunk takes the edge off of things. That's all he's really in it for.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Richard is a talented swordsman and mage-- of the Graces party members, he's probably the most equally balanced between physical artes and cryas artes. He's also a violinist, though he rarely indulges that hobby here.

Oh. And there is his superhero secret identity, the Mask of Barona. Richard is a giant nerdy fanboy, okay.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He has learned how to cook! This is a big deal given that he never had to cook for himself back in his own world, man. He's also learned how to be a waiter at Seventh Heaven, something that would be absolutely unheard of for a king to do. And he likes doing it!

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Richard will do whatever he can to avoid killing, though if it comes down to a cultist's life versus that of his friends, he'll kill without hesitation.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Richard has never been on a mission!

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: A little over three years now, not counting the two times he briefly returned home (for canon updates). As said above, Luceti has done a real number on him physically, emotionally, and mentally. He's just sort of given up on a lot of things now-- most of the fight has been sucked right out of him, and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that he's pretty seriously depressed. He's good at hiding it, but it's becoming more and more obvious now.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Richard has a tendency to run away/withdraw from people completely when he's overwhelmed, which leads to him often just leaving the house for a couple of days to hole up in an empty apartment until he feels up to dealing with people again. Once he's gotten past that, he'll cling to Isamu and Asbel like crazy, often quite literally in Isamu's case. And then there's the drinking.

Healthy coping mechanisms? What are those?

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? His first Valentine's Day was an utter, utter disaster. He ended up macking on his boyfriend's best friend, got dumped as a result, and was then ported off on a draft right after. It was a thoroughly miserable experience that has left him with longstanding emotional scars that haven't healed even to this day.

Luceti Valley was pleasant, if only because it gave him the chance to experience what being part of a normal family was like. Of course, the aftermath was painful when he realized it was all just an experiment, but the experiment itself made him very happy.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Richard is basically a giant dork at heart. He's not nearly as serious as he appears most of the time!

Saleh

[personal profile] mountain_sage 2013-06-20 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Maybe...5'9"?

2) Weight: Whatever is the healthy weight? Idk...

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Green eyes, lavender hair.

4) Age: I'm going to guess...25 at this point? He's had three years here, although he hasn't celebrated any birthdays.

5) Physical features: He'd have a toned body underneath all of his robes, which would probably be unexpected for a magic user.

6) Voice: His canon doesn't have voice acting, and I have no idea what he'd sound like.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with Ewan (even though Ewan isn't listed on the map and housing page). Saleh still does most of the chores, but he'll let Ewan take the easier ones.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Saleh will eat anything healthy and fresh. And of course he does the cooking. (Ewan would probably set the building on fire.)

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: He spends a good bit of time (especially during New Feather cycles) patrolling the forest for people who need help, or practicing his Valega. He'll also train in the Battle Dome. That pretty much takes up most of his days.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Saleh hasn't really taken any new fashions.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: He hasn't picked up any new hobbies. He hasn't had time.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Since his death, he's become less soft. He's more likely to act if he sees someone hurting someone else. And he's likely to fight harder, doing what it takes to win the battle.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He has his magic tomes and healing staff that he always carries with him.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No pets.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Daisy, Keimi, Cloche, Hisoka, and Tsuzuki

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? First, Ewan is his dear student. He's trying his best to make more time for him, to train him and just spend time with him. He's also close to Kain Highwind and Eleytheria. Saleh hasn't seen much of Kain lately, but still worries about him after Rydia's departure. Saleh understands Kain's feelings and wants to help him, but he just doesn't know how. Saleh and Eleytheria talk about cultures and the like.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Saleh and Isaac haven't gotten along well, despite Saleh's efforts. He's come to realize that Isaac seems to enjoy his own suffering, yet he still finds it hard to believe. Saleh still doesn't quite feel comfortable leaving Isaac alone with his violent tendencies, so he's keeping an eye out, but is otherwise keeping his distance. No one else really knows about it, and Saleh prefers it that way. Whatever happens between him and Isaac, he'd rather keep it between them. He doesn't want anyone else involved if he can help it.

Saleh hasn't gotten along too well with Garrosh Hellscream either. Saleh has tried to convince Garrosh to abandon his "punch his way through the barrier" plan, only to get picked up and tossed.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Saleh spends most of his time in the forest, or the Battle Dome. He'd still prefer the mountains, but that's a little far.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? As of now, no. He is, however, thinking of getting Ewan interested in Helios' Magic Club. But then Saleh would have to join the club himself, just to keep up with Ewan.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: His cape does a pretty good job of covering his wings. Otherwise, he just ignores them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Saleh has tried to keep his same appearance, as far as hair length and build is concerned.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: His Grandmother, his friends...his duty that he's supposed to fulfill. Oh where has Lady Myrrh gone...?

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: I think Saleh would write in a neat cursive writing.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Saleh maintains his composure most of the time, either on the journals or in person.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: His duty back home is still fresh in his mind, and governs everything he does. So while he's here, he'll try to strengthen himself, physically, mentally, emotionally, in any way he can. And hopefully when he returns home, he's hoping to remember everything he's learned here.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Definitely an upgrade, as Magvel has, like, zero technology. He's adapted to the lights and stuff well enough, but he still prefers the old-fashion ways of cooking and such.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He's not a drinker. It corrupts the body and mind.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Saleh has a talent for magic and healing, and has a gentle and powerful wisdom. He's good at bringing out the strength within other people. (But it would help if they would be honest with him about their issues.)

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's only contacted Nala and Kipinn, which is remarkably slow given the time he's been here. He's also trying to defend better against physical fighters.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Saleh tends to stick with his friends, and hang back for healing and offensive support. He doesn't like to kill if he can help it.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He hasn't been on any missions.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: He's been here for three years now. He's only trying to gain a positive impact from it.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Saleh goes back to the forest to meditate, to clear his mind. There's really nothing better to do.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? When he was returned with no self-esteem was particularly terrible for him. He's glad it's over.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Not really...

Karla

[personal profile] swordprincess 2013-06-20 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Maybe 5'7"? I'm just guessing...

2) Weight: 124 lbs.?

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes, black hair.

4) Age: I hear she's in her 20's according to an official artbook that I don't have.

5) Physical features: Not really. She's pretty plain in appearance.

6) Voice: No voice acting in her canon, sob...

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives alone, so she'll have to do all her chores.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Karla isn't too picky about her food choices. She'll have to go to Seventh Heaven, because her cooking skills aren't that great. (She wouldn't mind learning, though.)

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: She checks the journals for people she can meet, or just anything to do. She makes sure to train at the Battle Dome, but she doesn't want to do that all the time.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Karla isn't too keen on fashion, but she prefers her white outfits.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She doesn't have any hobbies, really. All she really knows is the sword art, and she doesn't even like that. She'd like to develop some new hobbies, though.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: She hasn't really been here long enough for something like that to happen. She is becoming more curious about things.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: She has a sword, the Wo Dao, that she carries with her all the time. It's a special sword.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No pets.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Her only neighbor is Maron Kusakabe.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? She hasn't made any serious friendships yet. Though the people she finds interesting are Katniss, Cato, Prim, and Asch.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? She hasn't been too crazy about Garrosh. Karla finds herself having to fight him to defend herself. She doesn't really hate him, but she won't miss him now that he's gone home.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Right now, just the Battle Dome.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? She hasn't joined any clubs yet.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: She has white wings that she ignores most of the time.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: She hasn't been here long enough to really change.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her brotherrrrrr! She's sad that she can't even look for him anymore.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: I'd think Karla keeps her writing formal, as well as her speech.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: I think she would act the same way.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Since she can't look for her brother anymore, she's trying to find other things to do, like new jobs or new hobbies. Just anything will do.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: An upgrade. She...really doesn't know what to think of it. It's...convenient, she supposes.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: N/A

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Karla's only real talent is the sword, and she excels at it. It's said that no one can even touch her, and she is capable of knocking out a man twice her size with a single stroke. Just ask Bartre. Karla is known as the Sword Princess for her beauty, not just in her appearance, but also in her grace in battle.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? She hasn't learned anything new yet.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She hasn't been on any drafts yet, but she'll be willing to fight.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She hasn't been on any missions either.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: It's only been about a month now. Since she can't look for her brother anymore, Luceti is forcing her to think outside of her little box.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? She'll do her usual thing, training mostly. It's all she knows.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? She's only been through the spirit possession event, and she really has no idea WTF happened there. She is currently under the mallynap effect where she'll see everyone up close as her brother. She'll be pretty miserable about it when she recovers from that.

36) Anything else you want to note?: I'm really curious to see what kind of development Karla will have here, since she's looking and willing to do just about anything.
wise_maiden: (until you opened up my eyes)

Raine Sage 1/2

[personal profile] wise_maiden 2013-06-20 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'5

2) Weight: 108 lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes, pale silver/white hair

4) Age: 23 +5 luceti years (roughly 28/9 by the end of this year I feel like these calculations are off somehow)

5) Physical features: Appearance wise, she's very youthful looking, as if she's in her early twenties at the most, despite her mature behavior and hair color. Her hair is always covering her ears, to hide that they're subtly pointed. At this point in her life, she won't be aging visibly for a long, long time. She's pale, thin, though others tend to comment on her physical beauty.

6) Voice: Here. More emotion (it's possible) here. And for ruin mode (mildly, anyway), here.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:

Currently, her only housemate is Albert ([personal profile] chikaidestroyer). The tasks were originally spearheaded by Albert and it's evolved to somewhat of a mutual splitting of work. Raine's learned to get better at household chores over time under his instruction, in spite of her hilarious packrat/hoarding tendencies in her own space and previous inability to do basic household chores. The house tends to be neat anyway, it's just the two of them.

Her brother Genis handled most of this at home (where he's once stated that she wasn't able to even do laundry without his help).

8) Their favorite foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

Raine doesn't have particular "favorites" when it comes to foods, since her brother spoiled her by turning out to be a good chef, not to mention the years of not really knowing where a meal would come from, so more of just coming to accept that and becoming used to not eating that often anyway unless prompted. Though if she had any significant preference, it probably would be for lighter meals, like chicken, salad, miso soup, stirfrys and spiced dishes - but her signature cooking ingredient is lemon--though she favors other citrus fruits as well, as she learned from a young age that citrus is healthy and keeps other fruit from spoiling. She's not a fan of mushrooms.

She usually doesn't cook, but she's been getting gradually more competent at basic meals with help from Sanji and Albert, things like sandwiches and salads and so forth - but she's far from ever being a primary chef in any household.

That said Albert handles the brunt of the cooking in #42, though Raine tries her hand here and there when it's allowed or on spare occasions. WIth Albert's recent condition over the past few months, she had actually spent more time cooking, as well as ordering from the restaurant on nights they were both too tired.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: :

When school is in session, she teaches (roughly from 9:00ish-2:30 pm, from Monday to Thursday).

She works in the flower shop during her off hours or whenever she's feeling inclined (earlier in the day on fridays and saturdays, later hours during the week), and her tasks include tending to the available plants, categorizing new seeds or saplings that may have been found, among other things.

She helps Law when needed with his medical lessons at the Battledome, and sometimes assists at the clinics when they're understaffed.

Aside from that she finds ways to keep herself occupied in some form. She keeps an eye out on the journals, takes notes of various going-ons (experiments, climate changes, etc) in Luceti, spends some time with Noishe and Astrid, occasionally seen riding. (Of note, this stable is near community building 7 but is smaller than the one that's filled with the horses that are for everyone's riding, as it was built before there were more horses available to other villagers).

She also can be seen visiting the tea shop, library and item shop, on any given afternoon when there's time, or errand running, not to mention looking in on the people that she's friendly with. She drops in on the battle dome occasionally as well for some training, and keeping her monster-list up to date.

10) Their general sense of fashion:

here and here for visuals.

Raine tends to be fairly practical when it comes to clothing, mostly because she's used to having to be prepared for travel at a moment's notice. Most of her clothing is sensible, but often loose-fitting. Shirts, and pants, and even rarer, skirts on occasion. Whatever the outfit, she usually is wearing her robes over them (which tend to be brightly colored - though most familiar is the orange) although she has a few variations of them by now with assistance of Shiki). In colder months she will wear a heavier coat or a cloak, or both.

She usually has a pair of thin gloves on her hands, at least when she's working or in battle. Sometimes she changes out her usual white boots for brown or black ones that are, well, less unique, and when it comes to fancy occasions, she still has this number tucked away somewhere.

Bonus beach-wear here.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:

- Most of her hobbies have been tied to creativity and her ruin mania personality - searching for artifacts, studying history, hoarding items, reveling in it, but in Luceti she has very few chances for that.

- She's always had reading as a hobby.

- ... and cooking. Badly. In Luceti however she has made progress on this, once her creativity is kept out of it, and even friends from home might be able to comment on the improvement (... though with Sanji gone it's questionable if this will keep up.)

- in Luceti she has added sketching and painting (at some insistence by housemates/friends, to try and give her something to do away from her work obsession which was consuming her in previous years). Her art varies on her state of mind; she usually leans toward a more creative aspect though, much like her cooking, but she can focus on intricate details as well.

- She also has a green thumb given that her house back home, despite being rather small, has houseplants all over it. In Luceti, she has been focusing more on that these days as well, even moreso when she tends the herbs and vegetables outside her house and often spends time at the flower shop.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:

Raine is... much more accepting of possibilities happening in Luceti than she ever has been at home. It's probably due mostly to the fact that it's overflowing with different people, and different cultures and new ways of thinking, as well as considerable influence from the journey. She tries more now to look for the possibilities in things instead of outright shutting it down -- of course, she's still pragmatic and holds back on some things. Though it's ironic that newer acquaintances have found her to seem optimistic -- most of her friends from home would not have thought her to be as such.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:

She favors rods (or staffs or wands, however they're referred to), and usually carries one around with her at all times. Her current one is topped by a large red sphere encasing a ruby. The ones from home are special since they help with her magic focus and enhance abilities. Ironically, she also has a cursed weapon in her possession, the Heart of Chaos.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:

- an octopus named Fabio, given to her by Jack Sparrow in the latter's attempts to get Raine more comfortable with the sea, kept in a tank in her room

- a cat named Lia (Actual name: Iselia), given to her by Leonard McCoy from Cupcake's litter.

- Noishe lives in the stable near her house so she tends to look in on him the most. She can also be seen around with him occasionally when she goes for walks in the forest or longer trips in the village.

- Astrid isn't hers, but she's Albert's horse that she also spends time with when she has the time.

15) Who are their neighbors?:

Residents of house #40, house #50, and Community Building #7.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?

There are a number of people she does care and look out for, and would go out of her way to help. It can't really be phrased in a "best friend" sort of way.

Her closest mutual friend is Sheena. They've experienced a lot inside of Luceti which went beyond what they experienced in their own world, and Sheena actually knows a good deal more about Raine's private life than most others. Raine tends to visit her at the tea shop when she isn't busy.

She would likely rank Albert up here, even if he wouldn't do so himself, since it isn't exactly mutual. It's more of a trust thing than a friendship thing, despite the rockiness of certain incidents.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?

Mithos. She has given warnings about him (to people at the smithy and his neighbors, and those who she's seen interacting with him) and does actively keep an eye out for his activities, mostly with Frey's assistance. Their interactions are fairly terse at best.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:

The school, flower shop, tea shop and library, and even just outside her house, even though it is a little noisier with the community building so nearby. She had a soft spot for Taichi's old treehouse as well, though with him gone it's fallen to disrepair.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?

Mostly her organizing revolves around the school and it's related activities (like the fair). She has an interest in the magic club, however. SHE IS ALSO IN THE ART CLUB, Ikki recruited her before the club even became official.

Raine Sage 2/2

[personal profile] wise_maiden 2013-06-20 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:

After the second round of possession and molting, her wings are now something of these colors, the aqua blue fading with the cream being at the tips.

For the most part, they're kept carefully tucked under her robes or a cloak, to keep them out of danger. When she's in ruin mode they tend to fluff out a bit more and get a lot brighter. So not many would be aware of this change yet.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:

Physically she looks the same due to being a half-elf. Otherwise, her hair is longer in the winter months, and she keeps it trimmed during the spring/summer.

22) What do they miss the most from home?:

Genis, though that goes without saying. Lloyd, Colette, Presea, even Zelos. The ruins, the nostalgia that Heimdall brought... the lack of real closure from her mother issues. The archeology, her artifact hoard ... She misses her little house too, and Iselia, and her students. Being able to visit home, even though it was not something she had signed up for, played a part in reminding her of the world and what's waiting for her.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:

Her writing is very clear/neat when she's in a business/teaching type mindset - she did have to write a guide after all. When she's not business-writing it's more... flowy, like. More natural. Her writing tends to sound more formal, but there's no real difference otherwise.

When she shifts to ruin mode, her writing gets excited and jumbled and difficult to follow. And there are hearts.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:

She generally seems very calm, and serious, but those who get to know her may see other sides, even some teasing. Anyone who doesn't know her well would probably think of her as cold at first, but off the journal's there is definitely more warmth in her interactions, unless she's strictly being professional -- or trying hard to not have others worry for her. She puts up a front most of the time in this regard.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:

One of her personal goals was to go traveling with Genis to try to find acceptance for half-elves. In Luceti there never seemed to be a reason for that to come up, so it was easier for her to "hide in plain sight", though she's been trying to make amends to that goal, slowly. It's just a matter of finding the courage to go ahead with it. In the meanwhile there's dealing with the Mithos problem.

And of course, an ever goal remains to be learning more about the situation and finding the best way to handle it, which means remaining ever open for new possibilities.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:

It's a mixture of both, so she's been able to adjust. She lived most of her life in a non-technological world but always was brilliant at understanding technology even though she never remembered living with it. And the technology that they're provided with in the village is small fry compared to others she's experienced. It's different, but that's about it. Not complicated. Domestic appliances gave her some trouble at first.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

Her students may find her to be either calm or intense depending on the lesson! For example, anything involving history might invoke ruin mode. Considering it's Luceti, she's much more laid back than she ever would have been in Iselia.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:

Not a drinker, but she has poked into Good Spirits on very, very few occasions. She's starting to favor cosmos with a lemon twist.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:

- She is a prodigy
- She is a healer
- when she's in her ruin mania, she dispenses knowledge of anything historical and can list off references at the drop of a hat. (also, terrible recipe ideas.)
- She has a knack for figuring out technological things as well as complicated puzzles
- Her healing abilities. Also on the list are basic magic skills from her world that she's had knowledge of but never focused extensively on until Luceti.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?

- Filial magic skills, though that needs to be updated. She has made contact with every spirit and uses time to practice her magic abilities and add the filial magic to it. She's also interested in learning other skills if possible.
- increased medical knowledge under Dr. McCoy (he considered her training complete)
- improved cooking/housework ability (Sanji's lessons, and Albert's... persistence)
- studying saidar with Moiraine
- getting comfortable with water abilities (Katara)
- studying weather patterns and predictions (Nami instruction)

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?

For draft situations, Raine does her best to aid others in preparations. She spends a lot of time making specialized kits that contain various quick and easy healing supplies, mostly for not wanting them to immediately resort to the filial magic and bring down shift hunters on them as a result. (That and healers can't always be there in the mix of things)The kits are intended to be small and easy for anyone to carry.

She fights when necessary or if she ends up in a bind, and she has the strength and magic to hold her own against ordinary soldiers; but the more numerous and powerful ones will give her trouble. She's better at long-range magic/support than close combat, given her weapon of choice. She is willing to kill.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?

The points are generally saved until a good use can be found for them. Depending on the mission, her habits are similar; gather as much information as possible, if she's with a person, make sure that they're prepared, and so forth. It's business.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:

Five years, as of March 4th.

She's experienced a lot in these past few years, and has found herself far more vulnerable than she'd ever like to be. She's gone from periods of extreme stress and overworking (a result of losing her brother and her memories and just finding something to focus on obsessively) to eventually taking a more resigned approach, notably because of Albert's influence.

She's become rather protective of certain residents, and there are a lot that she's come to care about. It pains her to see them go, or to return without their memories, and it's something she'd like to change, if she had the resources. She still wants to learn more about the situation itself - studying the information they gather and waiting for new opportunities.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?

Most end of drafts have resulted in either a long hot shower or a long, long night's sleep. She's been better about giving herself breaks on occasion, although sometimes her initial reaction is to give herself some manner of distraction. The same with experiments, depending on the sort of recovery that's needed. Sometimes a nice ride on Astrid does wonders for familiarity and clearing the mind.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?

All of her kidnappings were pretty bad, but the one ranked as the worst kidnapping could be the one that happened during the week of Halloween, 2010, because afterward she was in great pain for a couple of months and could not use her artes.

The worst shift experience she's ever had was getting sick and dying from a plague that ravaged nearly two thirds of Luceti's population in her very first month of arriving. Other experiences have been bad, but dying of an illness where you literally feel like you're being boiled to death internally is going to top the list, no matter how humiliating other experiences were. Not that the Halloween experiences were a walk in the park either.

And no, she didn't like any of them. Some are more manageable than others.

36) Anything else you want to note?:

oh god what did I leave out
seleniahymn: (With a gentle surprise.)

Tear

[personal profile] seleniahymn 2013-06-20 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height:
Prior to arrival she was 162cm, and since then has grown to barely reach 164cm, barely reaching 5'4". That is as tall as she will grow.

2) Weight:
Still at 50 kilograms, rounding to 110 lbs. Most of it is muscle.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
Her eyes are blue, we can determine that much, though often they can appear from medium to light blue, depending on the lighting. They are always clear, and though they are somewhat slanted they are capable of wide-eyed innocent expressions. Regarding her hair, it is a very light brown, almost tan. It has been described before as milk in coffee or hot chocolate.

4) Age:
AULDRANT YEARS. Upon arrival in Luceti, Tear was fifteen years old and twelve months, with thirty-eight days. She turned sixteen years old on December 9th of 2010, and as of now is seventeen years old as of January 15th, 2013. Her eighteenth birthday will fall on February 19th, 2015. In most of her icons she was 15 years old, since they're taken from canon sources. Does she look like a 15/17 year old to you?

5) Physical features: (Anything that stands out about them, especially if the icons don't seem to show it)
While it's not so common that it warrants icon changes, she is starting to pin her bangs and tie her hair back a little more. That's about the only difference.

6) Voice:
When I hear Tear, it is a mixture of her English and Japanese VAs – it encompasses the deep, hard-working and cool soldier of the English version who still slips into the hesitant, more softly-spoken and awkward teenage girl she truly is that is more prominent in the Japanese version. Both sides are in conflict with each other as she tries to gain her own identity independent of others and what was expected of her, while at the same time resolving to help others to the best of her ability. Most will encounter the soldier at first because that's the person she is, serious and to the point, but those who have become closer, we're talking really close CR such as housemates while in privacy, will find themselves listening to the teenager who had to grow up too fast more, whether it's on purpose or not.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
Chores and cooking are shared among herself, Nephry and Anise these days I believe. She doesn't mind this arrangement, or working alongside the others on occasion due to her nature of always looking out for and caring for others. As for handiwork, she can for some minor repairs...? But nothing spectacular and she'd be willing to hand it over to someone with more experience.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
Tear and Anise mostly divide cooking duties, with Anise doing it more often simply because she might be more used to doing that. If there are deserts in the household, you can usually bet Tear made them due to her fondness of sweets, and with more members in the household she can get away with making them more. Her favourite foods involve apples and milk, such as apple pie and cake while she also has a fondness for beef stew. Her least favourite is carrots, but she will still eat them accordingly.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
Every day starts early, just before sunrise which is followed by silent meditation for ten to fifteen minutes, or writing in her personal journal. After that, she checks the village journal to see if anything has occurred while she was sleeping, and she goes on to get ready for the day by first checking on her housemates, not disturbing them if they are still sleeping. After her share of morning household chores and walking Colonel she proceeds to the library for study and reading and checks out any books that may interest her, and come lunchtime she will more often than not come by the tea shop to share it with Frey, the two taking turns over who makes lunch. Otherwise, she has lunch with Luke, or once in a while just has tea with a friend. Afterward she may pass by the Battle Dome for practice or takes the time to train and play with Colonel, depending on the day, then takes to walking around the village afterward with or without him and occasionally checking out the shops. If there are any students that need her help with tutoring she helps them at this time after school, or else is attempting to form stronger bonds with Hyt and Sona or she might head home to spend time with her housemates, which is when Colonel is dropped off if he spent the day with her. Before and after sunset is spent at Cherry Blossom Hill where she communicates with Nala and reflects on whatever is crossing her mind. Afterwards she returns home for supper and documents the day in her personal journal, then spends more time with her housemates and sometimes has chats with Nephry not long before bed. Thanks to the number of people she helps and tutors there can be quite some variety to her schedule, and she does prefer that.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
Tear has been unable to break the habit of wearing her Oracle Knights uniform completely, though from time to time she does wear something else. These are usually outfits of brown, warm tones and darker colours, the kind of palette you would expect when you think of fall, though every so often you will spot her in the luxe pales clothing style and colours. She dresses modestly, which usually entails covering her legs and arms with long-sleeved shirts, pants and maybe even long skirts. Sometimes she accessorizes with small pieces of jewelry such as pendants or bracelets, and scarves are becoming part of her wardrobe for those days she feels like covering the minor scars at the base of her neck. Though she does wish to wear more feminine clothing every once in a while, it is not something she has been able to achieve of her own volition yet. Her hair is almost always down, though once in a while it is tied back at the nape in a low ponytail and her hands are almost always covered with gloves of some sort, so to be able to come in contact with her bare hands might be an indication of closeness and trust. With her body type and features, however, she would be able to pass off nearly any outfit spectacularly.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
Tear continues her studious habits in Luceti, as well as singing privately to herself or close friends every so often. She has taken up cooking a little more, and has developed a fondness for watching the sky and the flow of water across the rivers in the village.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
In some ways yes, and in others no. While Tear has always been patient, this is the first time she's really been forced to think about her own wants and needs, rather than the sake of others or the greater good. While she has become more lax on certain social topics and situations, she is still a sensible and shy young woman who still struggles to understand some humours.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
Tear continues to at least hold her throwing knives on herself, though not always on the garterbelt if she's not wearing her uniform that day. She keeps her staff strapped to her back, side or beneath her skirt whenever possible in the event it is needed, and she is always ready to cast her hymns and is learning to use the Filial magic more quickly and efficiently.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:
Tear has one pet, a tan Shiba Inu she was received as a gift for humouring the elves during Christmas CY6. His name is Colonel (+ Arthur, blame Layton), and he is roughly nine months old now. While he is Tear's pet, several of the other house members have also had a hand in raising him, and there are several days a week when he accompanies her as she does her errands if only for a short time, usually on a leash because he can be rather mischievous as Shiba Inu are prone to. She is very fond of him, and does occasionally spoil him even though she has been strict in his training and discipline. He's also more protective of Ion, since most of his time in House One he has only seen him sick and bedridden.

15) Who are their neighbors?:
Her neighbours are Houses 2 and 8 – occupying House 2 are Spock and James Kirk, while House 8 is filled by Yuan and Kratos Aurion. Further down the road are Houses 6 and 7, with House 6 being the One Piece House while House 7 is occupied by Buffy Summers. She doesn't know any of her neighbours well since House One is really out of the way, which means this has to be changed yup.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Her closest friends are the people of House One, which makes up most of the Abyss cast. She holds them all very dear, and is always willing to reach out to them. She sees them every day since they live together, and most of their time is spent simply chatting. Outside of the house she has her boyfriend and best friend Frey, whom she makes a point to try and visit every day and she messages them if they were unable to meet up.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
For all her time here, there is no one she doesn't get along with and she's neutral to most of the other villagers for the most part. Yes, even Sync, when he's not attacking her friends.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
Her favourite locations have become the cherry blossom tree hill and the bridge closest to her home overlooking the river. They are both places of significance and peace for her. Every so often you might find her rummaging through the clothing shops or the bazaar in a secretive hunt for cute and pretty things, and she's been hanging out more around the tea shop. While only one or two people know about it, she's working on growing a selenia garden on a tree not far behind House One.
seleniahymn: (Relaxing~)

Part II!

[personal profile] seleniahymn 2013-06-20 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
Tear is actually a member of Brave Vesperia! She's dedicated to it and goes to meetings. She occasionally helps out in organizing celebratory events.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
Her wings are red-violet, just like the Qliphoth, and while she has modified some clothing to accommodate them they are covered for the most part, especially knowing that they can be used as a weakness and how sensitive they can be. She thinks they're cute though and leaves them out for that reason alone sometimes...

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
There have been some changes, she has grown another two centimeters and her face has continued to mature more while the growth of the rest of her body has slowed. Beyond that there is little else that will continue to mature beyond the face, and her hair has continued to grow and is trimmed every once in a while.

22) What do they miss the most from home?:
Most of all, she misses the people of home – the rest of her comrades, and she still longs to go back and finish what they started knowing that the goal is so close. She also misses her garden and its significance to her every once in a while, having been unable to find an equivalent in Luceti, though that's changing because she's working on creating one. She also misses having a steady and constant goal, because she has always had that in her life whether it be to someday help Van by being by his side or stopping him in current day. In Luceti, she doesn't quite have that and it leaves her feeling confused, though that's also fixing itself a little with the friendships she has formed.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
Her writing style is pretty much the same as her manner of speaking, meaning that it's polite, clear and to the point. Her handwriting is sharp and crisp, almost qualifying as a script that reflects well on the fonic alphabet. Any personal letters, however, are still more prone to sounding more like reports than anything.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
There are almost no differences, barring the fact that in-person it would be that much easier to determine her expression, hesitation and body language, given it's not as easy to escape that when in someone else's presence.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
Her primary goal is still to one day return to Auldrant so she may help to put an end to Van's plans, though she realizes full well that for the time being that goal is out of her hands and all she can do about it is be patient and help in retrieving information about the world and enclosure. That is her goal, though there is little else for her that doesn't involve tutoring or keeping up her strength to protect others, and helping out whenever she can. With the influence of other CR, however, she may start to consider more personal goals for herself, whatever those goals may be. For now, she remains torn and at times even frustrated. And now, she has her goal of seeing where her relationship with Frey goes.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
In a sense it is both. While the technology Luceti has is the same as those of the Outer Lands, Tear was raised in Yulia City, which still functions on Dawn Age technology. The problem with this, however, is that no one knows how to reproduce the technology and the best they can do is minor repairs. It was barely any trouble for her to adjust, though.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Nope.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:
Tear has yet to try alcohol and doesn't plan to anytime soon, so if anyone wants to try to convince her otherwise.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
Tear is one of the last two descendants of Yulia Jue, who in her time was considered a living goddess with worship and reverence of her continues in modern day. This means she can effectively employ sound as a powerful weapon using the Fonic Hymns, which are the covenant to the equivalent of Auldrant's principal deity, Lorelei. Singing these hymns will draw forth Lorelei to help protect Yulia and her descendants and allow them to use his power, as he promised her when the covenant was made. She also happens to be a very good baker and is the second-best cook in the party, after Anise.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
She has successfully learned to use Nala's healing and has taken to combining that to bolster her own healing artes. She also has Sona almost down, and has been communicating with Hyt. Those are also being combined with her artes and sometimes, though she won't admit to it unless caught, she has taken to using them a little for solely pretty effects.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
Tear treats drafts the same way she treated battle in Auldrant, in that she goes in headfirst when necessary to protect others and offers herself as a supportive force, keeping everyone up to their health and protecting them, taking the role of close-range if necessary. Her primary goal is always to protect and save the lives of her companions. She doesn't hesitate to kill, though if it can avoided she goes for that route, and the same goes for fighting.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
When it comes to missions she fully respects and assesses the talents of her comrades, offering her input and otherwise she follows through with any orders and instructions. Though she does tend to be more vigilant and does her best to take note of anything that might be unusual, she doesn't bring it up much.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
She has been in Luceti since November 2010, so about two years and seven months right now. Though it's not really noticeable, the stay has affected her in subtle ways that would take quite a while to list here, but the gist of it is that she's starting to learn to put herself first, and is still very much dedicated to helping others.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
She starts first by checking up on her friends, then jots it all down in a personal journal she has kept. Keeping records of things that have happened is important to her, and they have helped her out in previous experiments, plus with the knowledge that she has been in Luceti before and has no recollection of it, writing it all down provides a sense of security and helps her to deal with what happened more easily.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
The mallynap effect where she was AU'd into Luceti Valley again, because not only did she return to her friends after a long absence injured, but she really hurt them by not remembering them properly, which was especially true for Luke since he was a complete stranger to her, and he was left with the loneliness of that. Another problem that resulted from this was that Van had arrived in the enclosure at the time, so she was unable to deal and handle him properly until almost a month afterward. However... the original Luceti Valley is one she doesn't necessarily regret. It gave her the experience of being a mother, wife, older sister and gave her the experience of having living parents. While she does have reservations and is uncomfortable with talking about it most of the time, she does look back to it with some fondness because it gave her a taste of things she didn't know she wanted, and she has regained some of that since then.

36) Anything else you want to note?:
An only slightly outdated character survey of doom, I believe! Also if anything here matches up with your characters and you'd like to plot something, feel free to hit me up.

halflived: (→ you want me to what)

Aleos

[personal profile] halflived 2013-06-20 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height:
He's hitting around 5'7" these days, about 170 cm.

2) Weight:
Somewhere around 100lbs, about 46 kg. Which is far lighter than he looks, to the point that anyone trying to carry him would be in for a shock with how easy it is. Being only half-Human does that.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
His eyes are maroon, sometimes shifting between looking more red or more brown depending on the lighting. His hair is a dark brown called bistre, dark enough that it can look almost black in poor lighting.

4) Age:
He was 15 when he arrived, though he just turned physically 16 since it was summer in his world when he arrived in January, and his birthday is around the winter solstice. He'll still consider his "real" birthday to be around then.

5) Physical features:
His icons don't show it, but he keeps his wrists covered all the time because he has leaves growing out from there and they're rather sensitive. Every so often, usually while working, he'll pin his bangs back so that no hair gets in the food.

6) Voice:
Aleos has a voice that sounds almost exact to Ryan Tedder, with a dash of Todd Haberkorn mixed in. It's young sounding, but not overly so, and can carry well if he feels like it. His singing range and ability also matches Ryan's, for those instances he has to sing for combat or to comfort a friend somehow.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: (laundry, dusting, sweeping, fixing sinks, and so on)
Aleos lives alone in CH1, Room 7. It's a lively place though he doesn't go out of his way to talk to everyone, and he knows how to take care of himself and can do minor repairs if he has to.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
His favourite foods are chicken and grapes, while his least favourite are apples. He'll still eat them, but he doesn't like it and if it's mixed in with something he won't eat a lot of it. He cooks for himself, though on occasion he'll make a little extra and leave in the floor kitchen in case one of his floormates are hungry.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: (Stay home, do chores, go to a job, read, meet up with people, wander around, and so on)
Aleos rises early, gets ready for the day with breakfast then goes on to open up Seventh Heaven and is generally in charge of the morning shift's meals. He'll usually finish up by lunchtime, though he does occasionally stay a little later and might even have a meal there. Or even talk to the customers if he's having a bit of a surge of socializing that day. Afterward he heads out to the library for a bit of reading, or searching for more recipes to try out once he returns home. After that the rest of his day is filled with whatever he feels like that day, and he is usually home to make dinner and then writes in his personal journal, a habit he's taken up again from home. He tends to turn in early afterward.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
Most of what he wears is average teenage fashion, however he likes to keep a neat appearance so he often wears clothes that wouldn't be out of the question in semi-formal, or even formal occasions and that he looks good in. Things like button-up shirts or slacks. He'll often wear a shirt with a hoodie, short or long sleeved, and he'll never wear sleeveless shirts and will almost never wear shorts. His wrists are always covered.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
If it isn't clear enough he has an immense hobby of cooking. He also likes playing basketball from time to time, and has been trying a hand at sketching.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
He hasn't really had his views changed and isn't any less wary than he was when he arrived six months ago, though he is slowly becoming more open and trying to accept the mindset that no one is going to hurt or hate him while he's here.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
He does not carry or own a weapon, though he is practiced with firearms and does know how to use swords in a pinch if that was his only option.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:
No pets, though he does miss his cat back home.

15) Who are their neighbors?:
His neighbors are Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Nathan Spencer and Henry Mills. He has yet to talk to any of them. 8D

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
There's no one in Luceti whom he would consider a best friend yet, though he is closer to Fayt Leingod and Cross Blanchard.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
... Mithos. But he doesn't hate the guy, far from it. Aleos met him while he was Herothos, so he's very concerned about him.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
Definitely Seventh Heaven, though he does like to hang out at the plaza fountain and on occasion the flower shop.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
He does not belong to any clubs or organizations.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: (cover them up, generally ignore them, jump every time they see them in the mirror, so on)
His wings are yellow at the base shifting right away into a darker blue gradient toward the tips, much like the flower in this icon. He keeps them covered out of habit, since having wings back home was a surefire way to be hunted down back home, though there are days where he leaves them free and enjoys every minute of it.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
He's grown another few centimeters! His hair is a little longer, he might actually try to take some scissors to it himself....

22) What do they miss the most from home?:
His friends and older brother the most, he left during a kind of bad time and he's eager to go back to them and seek out answers, from his twin sister especially given what happened between them right before arriving.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
His handwriting is tall and slender, slightly slanted and rather crisp. Similar to this font. He's definitely more polite in handwriting because he has time to think, though he's still honest and to the point.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
His awkwardness and shyness is definitely much more obvious in person than it is over the journal, which already has hints of that to begin with.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
Not really, aside from figuring out what the heck is up with Mithos. He still wants to go back home desperately, so that's still his priority even as he tries to make do with his time here.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
It's a downgrade, but not so much that it's startling and he fumbled miserably with it. He was able to figure out most appliances right away.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Not enrolled.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: ... He likes grape juice.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
Aleos is the Heir of Earth, which means that he's essentially the avatar of his clan's guardian deity back home and it grants him the ability to control, and sometimes even create earth at will. He's still struggling with it a little since his awakened powers is a more recent development, and he doesn't exactly want strangers to overhear him singing when he's practicing sometimes. In line with that, he's a good singer and violinist.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
No new skills yet, though he is interested in learning more fighting styles since he thinks being thrown into it is inevitable, and he's still sore over his brutal defeat at the hands of his sister and failure to properly protect his clan like is expected of its Heir.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
He hasn't gone on a draft yet, but he's definitely someone who would linger in the background and avoid killing if possible. But he'll still try his hardest to defend people, especially those who can't fight or are unable to do so well.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
Not applicable yet!

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
He's been here since January 2013, about six months, and he's... sort of become more open. He's still paranoid of everyone and of people figuring out he's not a Human, but it's gotten better in that time. He's starting to talk to people more rather than just keep himself a recluse, though part of that is his natural desire to be around people.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
He tends to go straight for his apartment, if he's not already there, and just keeps to himself. It's a rather unhealthy habit since he's keeping everything bottled, honestly...

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
He hasn't had a lot of experiments since arrival, but the worst is still the Valentine's experiment because it made him so uncomfortable, and he prefers not to think about it.

36) Anything else you want to note?:
Not much other than a cliffnotes profile and a buttload of world info.

godbent: (Au Auu)

Haruhi Suzumiya

[personal profile] godbent 2013-06-20 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'2 ... Yeah

2) Weight:

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Brown and brown, again, though again her eyes are a bright brown.

4) Age: 20 (going on 21 in August), and she actually looks it (sort of) despite her petiteness. Her icons are my enemy.

5) Physical features: Her skin's surprisingly fair despite everything and her hair is somewhat longer than the icons imply, aside from her hair - a little more than shoulder length at this point. she also sometimes switches out her ribbons for hairbands or the like.

6) Voice: Wendee Lee or Aya Hirano, both of which are famous enough I don't feel like linking!!! ...Okay that's a lie. Hirano and Lee - both of which have their strengths and given she's older, she probably is a bit less shrill. I generally keep Lee in mind more, but Hirano does have better inflections here and there. Also admire the animation in the movie for the second clip, do it.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: House 10, where she lives with Rhyme, Beat, Sekai (the rooster), and Pogo (the fish). The house is feeling just a bit too big now that Shiki is gone. Haruhi does tidy up that, but really she delegates most of the chores which aren't cooking to other people. This also applies to the Brigade HQ.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: AGAIN I SWEAR I HAD THIS FIGURED OUT AT ONE POINT BUT I SINCE FORGOT. But variety is the main spice here. Haruhi changes what she makes more or less by the day. And she does all the cooking for House 10 unless it's otherwise stated. It's just how it's always been since she realized Shiki wasn't that great.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: The majority of her day is spent at the SOS-Brigade's HQ, either in the meeting, at the front desk, or just sitting in the lobby. She also goes to the library to study her magic, back home to cook dinner, and in the square if she's bored. She goes out and explores or looks for interesting people or surfs the journal as needed too. In the mornings, before breakfast (because girl gets up early) she goes on a run.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Traditionally it's been stylish-cute (albeit on a budget) but in Luceti it's gotten to where she's been trying lately to dress to look older and more refined. Still stylish cute, but trying to look increasingly dignified as well.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Whatever sounds fun. Haruhi is talented at almost everything she tries, but often gets bored with things just as fast. So her "hobbies" vary wildly as a result.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: She wants to stay in Luceti long enough to see it through - that is, to have the whole "people keep coming here" thing resolved, which she is confident they'll resolve in a matter of years here, at most. She's also just matured and gotten nicer, given how long it's been. OH and how I forgot something important: she has grown to like violence as a solution way, way, way less. For a while she held something against soldiers as a whole, but now she just prides herself on not fighting personally.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: No. Well, sort of. She carries mace and I'd like to say a taser but I forget if that ever came up. But she's also a stated non-combatant.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Sekai the rooster is a Jersey Giant rooster, so he's the size of a average size turkey now he's full grown. She sometimes walks with him. Pogo is a fish so obviously he's not around with her generally.

15) Who are their neighbors?: The Pokemon people in House 11 (who she's really more aware of than knows personally) and Kain/Cecil in House 9. Again, more aware of than knows.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Shiki was her singular best friend in Luceti but she went home. Which leaves Kyon (who she sees daily somehow or another through the Brigade), Leon (same), and Winry (who she sees in passing daily - or did before she quit the Smithy. But she does have a scheduled day with her every Sunday which usually holds)

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? BUFFY SUMMERS. JOSHUA. ...Probably some other people, she's very argumentative. But those two stand out. She just bitches them out and/or doesn't want to talk with them.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Brigade HQ, duh. Outside of that, the roof of House 10 and the cherry tree hill which has that little shrine they made for Miyabi and the trees Ammy grew.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Duh. And daily.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: bright reflective-ish yellow, so when they are exposed (which they almost always are) it seems to make her glow in direct sunlight. She just makes holes in clothes or, more usually, had Shiki make custom clothes for it.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: She did not get tall per se, but she has filled out more and looks a bit less babyfaced as she aged.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Th rest of the SOS-Brigade, now that Kyon is here and has been staying. Yuki, Mikuru, Itsuki. Also her family quite a bit, but she's gotten used to missing her parents, if that makes sense.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Neat. Less severe sounding because there's no tone. But there's not a huge different aside from inflection, as usual.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: No, no difference.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Not necessarily goals, but it did change her worldview some. Earth was something that was boring and the abnormal had to be sought out. Luceti had the abnormal all around it so much it became normal. so you had to fight to keep the world interesting and new.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It used to be a downgrade when she first showed up. Now it's only a slight downgrade but most's equivalent. They do know how to deal with less now, of course, but are glad to have the more.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: There is a whole post dedicated to this.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? See #29

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Haruhi is a Stated Non Combatant, and has pride in the fact she doesn't go around killing people. She has done different roles in different drafts: helping out civilians or being a chef or all sorts of things like that. She finds value in these roles.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She's gone on many missions to see more of the world and to meet more people from other enclosures. She tends to talk with people from other enclosures a lot as a result, but mostly treats it like she would a job or schoolwork, doing it with more diligence and less complaining than people who don't know her well would think she can muster.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Over four years and tremendously. She's adapted to it as a home which isn't quite home and made lots of friends here she would never want to part from. She's found and lost love a few times and the same with friends and members of her Brigade. As such, she wants closure on Luceti more than anything at this point. Going hoe unceremoniously to possibly come back is one of her big fears. She wants to end it on her terms.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Retreat and brood by herself until she figures things out enough to want to talk with other people. If she just sulks or tries to learn new skills depends on the event. The length of time also depends.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Worst is a toss up of one of her Valentines (mostly the fallout) or one particularly awful kidnapping she had years ago. Both of those are not things she dwells on though, so the worst she actually focuses on is when the Teases made Usagi explore or when Taichi burned to death. Other than that, there are actually a lot she's enjoyed. I'm noting here that she doesn't drink - she's had drinks a small handful of times, usually from experiments.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Nah I think I'm good.

chikaidestroyer: (A certain age to his eyes)

Albert Silverberg

[personal profile] chikaidestroyer 2013-06-20 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 186 cm (6'1") [canon]

2) Weight: 168 lbs. He's thin for his height, but does have some muscle on him now.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Green eyes. Wine red-purple hair; it looks more red in the sunlight.

4) Age: 30 as of February 16 of this year. He looks his age ... or possibly a little older, considering his allergy to smiling.

5) Physical features: He has piercings on both ears and can be seen wearing small, silver hoop earrings and a simple ear clasp on a daily basis. His right wing is pierced, made more visible by the wing ornament (a silver clasp that hooks to the edge of the wing with a short length of silver chain) that he wears.

6) Voice: Low tenor. Eloquent and often with deliberate pacing, considering he's a noble. (...Not that that ever comes up.)

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with Raine Sage in their house of many years, house 42. They share the housework ... and I'm fairly certain they do their own laundry.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Raine has been doing more of the cooking the last few months, but Albert is likely to return to cooking more often with his cursed arm healed. He enjoys seafood and, perhaps ironically, game birds. He doesn't particularly like sweets.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: He works mornings over at Celsius Tear unless he's taking a day off. He tends to his garden every other day or so, and spends a lot of time in the mountains with his giant owl and practicing magic. Afternoons not spent in the mountains are generally spent riding his horse or spending time around the village, mostly in the plaza buildings (stores and library). Evenings, he's most likely to be staying in and reading.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Long-sleeved shirts and turtlenecks in solid colors -- shades of black, white, gray, blue, and green are his preference. He tends to wear dark trousers, but he'll wear jeans while riding.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: He took up gardening fairly early on in Luceti and has kept up with it. Horseback riding is something Albert did often back in his world, but mostly for business reasons; he rides for recreation. ...He's also taken to, um, giant owl flying.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Albert has taken much more to the "c'est la vie" mindset that Silverbergs tend to practice, in comparison to his canon personality of pushing along his agenda by manipulating events. He also came to the decision three years ago that he would prefer to remain in this world and assist in seeing the world influx stopped or reversed, rather than leave and return multiple times and risk losing the information he's gathered.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He has limited experience with a sword and shield; he can at least keep grip on the weapon and ... well, slash and hack. He's very out of practice, as he doesn't train with anyone. He's more inclined to practice magic (both his canon's runic magic and Filial magic), and he wears a Guardian's Eye ring under his glove, allowing him to create magical blasts.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: His horse, Astrid, was a winter gift from the Malnosso one year. He's developed an ... owl following from the original elf owl he "befriended" in Luceti, Rune -- three generations of elf owls recognize him on sight, sadly enough. He also has a giant owl as a fifth Luceti anniversary gift from Bil. The giant owl was sarcastically given the name Biliruben, and the name has since then stuck.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Houses 40 and 50's residents are the closest neighbors.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Albert takes issue to the term "friend." He's closest to Raine and Sheena, with Buffy coming up behind them. He sees Raine and Sheena on pretty much a daily basis.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? There's no one he actively doesn't get along with; it tends to take awhile to make attachments to the point of not getting along with people.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Celsius Tear (the tea shop), the small stables beside house 42, the mountains north of the hot springs teleporter.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? He's not officially with any clubs or organizations.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: His wings are black; a softer shade, unlike the deep black they would have been under Twila's influence. He's grown used to them and lets them remain out unless he's wearing a coat. ...Which is fairly often.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: He's aged six years since arriving in Luceti, picking up scars and wounds along the way. He's only recently gotten rid of the physical signs of the curse that had taken over his left arm.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Perhaps unsurprisingly, his job and the familiarity that entailed.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His handwriting is a neat, professional script; his job called for the necessity of legible handwriting. He's less likely to use contractions while writing.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: He's pretty much the same in person as he is over the journals; it's just more obvious how aloof he is face-to-face.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Personal renown and a high-ranking job were the driving factors for Albert back in his world. Those goals were pretty much tossed to the wayside in Luceti.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Technological upgrade. He's adapted well, owning a laptop and printer and knowing how to work with both of them.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Kanakan wine; he stops by Good Spirits periodically to pick up wine bottles that Buffy sets aside for him. He prefers to drink alone, but did do the social drinking thing back in his world.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Albert is a prodigious military strategist and tactician from a family of strategists and tacticians; though young, he orchestrated the movements of three factions into a war with an outcome that benefitted him. Through the magic of his world, he is a summoner; through the Observer (Rem)'s meddling, he can summon in Luceti if he wished to. He's also a rune sage now, capable of embedding and removing runes.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? As mentioned, he is now a rune sage; this allows him to handle runes and embed them on people or on some inanimate objects. He's also technology savvy for someone from his world, able to use computers with some proficiency, and able to drive an automobile.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He is majorly a noncombatant, doing anything from organization to communications of some kind. If things get crazy, he'll struggle through a fight and is willing to kill if necessary.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? While on missions, he's about as talkative as he can be; he tries to learn what he can about the world and whatever enclosure he currently is in. He's careful not to do anything that will look suspicious.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: He's been around since the beginning of the current Luceti cycle, so a total of 2,064 days. While he's been quieter overall, he still attempts to learn more about their situation and keep good relations with those who can dole out information.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? ...He tends to sleep a lot. Then he'll go over and take care of his garden.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He's generally okay with the Valentine's experiment. The absolute worst experience he's had was either an experiment or accident in which mushi started appearing in Luceti; he was affected by morning glory mushi and had his sense of time terribly warped. Nothing else, not even the threat of death, caused him to panic and basically flip out as much as that.

36) Anything else you want to note?: ...Can't think of anything ... besides the wayward thought that he might like pain. /facepalms at self

Kukki

[personal profile] halfnhalf 2013-06-20 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
halfnhalf: ([teddy] want me to stay?)

Theodore Rufus Altman (god just call him Teddy) 1/2?!

[personal profile] halfnhalf 2013-06-20 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height:
Variable, usually 5'8” or 5'9".

2) Weight:
Variable, usually 170 lbs.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
Variable, but pretty much always short blond hair and blue eyes.

4) Age:
17! He'll be 18 in about two months on August 27th.

5) Physical features:
They might be too small in the icons, but he has five earrings in each ear – four pierced along the sides, and one cuff on top. He's gradually changing to two piercings in each ear and the cuff on top, but he switches the style in and out. Soon enough, he'll stick to the latter.

6) Voice:
Matt Czuchry sounding! Allan Heinberg, the original Young Avengers creator, had picked out a few actors that he had in mind when creating the looks and whatnot of the characters, and that's the guy he picked for Teddy.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
Teddy lives with his boyfriend, Billy Kaplan, in Community Housing 5 Room 21! The chores are divided pretty evenly, with Teddy cooking and Billy doing dishes, taking turns with laundry and taking their own clothes to fold/hang up. If there's a big project, like if they let a room get too messy, they'll tackle it together, with Billy doing the quieter chores like picking up clothes and whatnot (and likely humming Spoonful of Sugar among other things sometimes) while Teddy does the louder ones like vacuuming.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
Teddy loves all kinds of food, as he's a big eater with a lot of metabolism. He looooves stir fry especially and lots of meats, preferably grilled. His favorite drink is cherry soda, he loves strawberry milkshakes, and Snickers. He still believes that New York style of certain foods are the best (pizza, hot dogs, bagels), so he might quietly complain about those but eat them regardless. As for dislikes, there really isn't a food he actively doesn't like; he'll eat pretty much anything within reason. He's one of those guys who'll see something disgusting and be like I'D TRY THAT.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
He wakes up, spends some time with Billy (either helping him with exercise or reading while Billy does this), then packs a lunch for the two of them before they go to school. He skips out on magic class (other than occasionally sitting in when Billy wants him to), but definitely attends music. On Wednesdays after school, he has guitar sessions with Katniss, and recently, he started to do the same thing with Prim on Thursdays. Otherwise, he spends a bit of time to nap or play a few laptop games after school. After these, he goes with Billy to train at the Battledome's Danger Room simulation with Logan. Once they're done with that, they go back home to unwind and shower. Billy either stays home or does other things while Teddy either does the same or goes out to just wander for a while; he likes to explore and discover new things, or just hang at places either for the sake of chillin' or to practice his shape shifting. When they've both had enough, they meet up at home again and spend the rest of the time with each other. Weekends are a little freer, though they usually spend it keeping each other company/having dates and what not.

It might look busy, but he does have quite a bit of free time, and he uses that for lunch dates or just catching up with people. He'll likely spend a lot of time at the coffee place too, when it's open. He really loves coffee okok.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
This boy probably spends like five minutes throwing on random clothes with random colors and probably something geeky on the front, and yet he has such a good, natural sense of fashion that it all looks good somehow?! Seriously, the boy can rock white and orange and red with beige pants and make it look completely fashionable, it's absolutely unnatural. Otherwise, he kind of wears what the average modern day teenager wears, from dress-shirts to t-shirts and jeans to khakis. It just depends on what he feels like wearing.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
Teddy loves to fly, especially with Billy. One of his favorite things is just to glide and let the wind take him where it wants to go (sometimes it's into a tree, it happens). It's total headcanon that he likes to play guitar – it was a very off and on thing back in NYC, and since coming to Luceti he's gotten more into it, and is quite good at it now. He likes to draw, though not to the extent of Billy; he mostly draws little designs that you'd likely see on an ink stamp than anything.

The Battledome is a favorite place of his, not only to do battle simulations, but also other things like movie watching, random scenarios like walking the world of Middle Earth or Pandora, and playing basketball against crappy NPCs. Also in Luceti, the extent that he can do with his wings when it comes to shapeshifting is changing their colors and designs, so he likes to do that pretty much every day. People are free to notice that his wings are almost always never the same. Teddy also likes to walk and play with his dog, Optimus Prime.

In NYC, he liked to wander the streets and talk to store owners and whatnot just to chitchat, and he does this in Luceti too. He wanders, and he's likely stopped into shops just to chat, so if your character works somewhere, they've likely seen him and maybe spoken to him! He's a gamer, too, so he loves to play video games and will challenge anyone as well as take up a challenge if he figures out they play games too. He's a casual chess player, though he knows he's not the best at it. And he also loves to read fiction and comic books.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
Back at home, Teddy's living with a lot more people, and there was a lot going on in the Marvel universe, so there wasn't a lot of time to develop himself. In Luceti, however, he's just living with Billy, and so they've had time to strengthen their bond and get used to living with each other. Thanks to that, as well as gaining several more friends and bonding with them, he responds to being asked about his issues and such differently; he's still very withdrawn about it and usually keeps it inside to deal with himself, but he's a little more open to talk about it with people and actually discuss something that might be wrong. Otherwise, not much.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
His whole body is his weapon, really. He's a shapeshifter with super strength and a healing factor at that. He uses his shifting quite a bit in battle, and of course, he's quite the heavy hitter and can take a lot of hits. He can even turn his arm into a sword if he wanted to – he just doesn't really go for completely dangerous weapons, seeing how he, like pretty much all Avengers, have a no-kill policy.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:
He has a dog, Optimus Prime, a golden retriever who's about four months old and is rapidly getting bigger and bigger. He's gonna be a big one, that little guy. He also has a cat, a black one named Mr. Mistoffelees. But since she's a girl, they shortened her name to Misty. She's also more Billy's cat than Teddy's, seeing how Teddy got her for him, but together, they're the boys' children, and they nicknamed them as such.

15) Who are their neighbors?:
Xavin lives in the room next to them, and Clint Barton and Kid Loki are down the hall from them! It's a very Marvel floor. More DC kids are below them, and a couple more Marvelites live above them.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Teddy's best friend is definitely Billy, and no one could ever surpass that. Seeing how Teddy lives with him, he spends a lot of time with him, and they do a variety of things together. Small things like reading in the same room, looking at the stars at night, drawing together and playing guitar for him, big things like cuddling, dating, more private things, and they run Alliance together, with Billy as president and Teddy as vice president. Battledome simulations, training, fighting side by side in battle... there's honestly way too much they do together to list here. Other people he's quite fond of are Katniss and Prim Everdeen, Ororo Munroe, Steve Rogers, Bucky, Sabriel, Mia, Pepper Potts, Fayt, and Professor Hershel Layton. He does different things with them all!

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
He doesn't actively dislike anyone, though if Billy's uncomfortable with anyone, he's likely wary of them as a result. He doesn't trust Loki in the slightest and thus tends to be very reserved while talking to him, but otherwise he pretty much keeps him at arm's length and treats him like he would anyone else. He's pretty good with being okay with villains as long as they're not causing damage, so really, no one is on his shitlist.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
Teddy likes to go to pretty much every place, but his favorites are the Battledome, Seventh Heaven, and the coffee shop once it's open.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
He's the vice president of Alliance, the LGBTQQA club that Billy created. Once they have a more set schedule, he'll be there every time and be regularly active with it, probably talking about it quite a bit as well. Just because Billy's the mastermind doesn't mean that Teddy doesn't love it as much as he does. He's just not as used to being involved in things like that.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
Usually, his wings have a mockingbird pattern, although the darker parts are a green color instead. But Teddy loves to shift the color and design of his wings, so it may just be a mystery to other people just what his wings really look like. He usually keeps his wings out, having found it really aggravating to try and keep them under his clothes. When he shifts his flying wings out, he pushes them out from between and in front of his Luceti wings, where they connect at the top before looking like his usual Hulkling wings, both to protect the smaller ones and to ensure that they don't get in the way. He usually wears his costume over them in battle, and if an enemy gets too close to his wings, his body will automatically shift to protect them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
Seeing how Teddy can change his appearance however he sees fit, not really. Although he does naturally look a tad older, closer to 18 than 16 now.

22) What do they miss the most from home?:
Every damn thing. He misses the city, misses its people, misses the hustle and bustle, misses the noises, misses his school. Most of all, though, he misses his extended family, who are the rest of the Young Avengers. He wouldn't wish for any of them to be here, but he dearly misses them. Teddy also misses Billy's family, as they're sort of his family too, but he tries not to say so, what with Billy missing them far more.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
It's not messy, but it is slightly scrawly, slightly swoopy. like this!

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
Not really! He doesn't pause as much while writing, though he doesn't pause much while speaking anyway. The only real difference I can think of is that he underlines his emphasis rather than using italics, and he's probably a bit more impersonal, seeing how it's text and not spoken.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
His only real new goal is to get out of Luceti ASAP. He is interested in learning the Skrull language now that Xavin is here, so that's... sort of a goal? (If we got a Kree, he'd want to learn the Kree language, too). Otherwise, his goals are largely the same, to improve his heroing skills and be a better boyfriend for Billy and whatnot.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
Definitely a downgrade. Luceti is nothing like NYC, and a lot of the tech is still pretty old as well as no cars or planes or anything! It's been almost a year for Teddy and he still isn't used to the tiny village of Luceti.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:
Lunch Music! Or if electives don't count, then he enjoys writing, despite being generally better at science. He dislikes math though. Way too many numbers and applications associated with them. As for behavior, he's usually a pretty good student, listens well and everything, if sometimes daydreams or is obviously tired. Sometimes, however, he and Billy end up sneaking off together for Reasons, though they try to go and come back at separate times to not make it completely obvious to everyone else.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:
Teddy's fast metabolism and healing power makes him unable to get drunk or even tipsy, and he doesn't see the point in drinking something he finds doesn't taste that great if he doesn't get anything out of it. (Plus drunks are completely unimpressive).

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
He's a shapeshifter! He can change his body however he'd like, or become anyone he wants, and he has the acting and accent mimicking skills and to pull it off even if the mun isn't so great at playing other people. He also enjoys playing the guitar and can be artistic when he wants to be, though he'd never ever want anyone other than Billy to see what he does, so no art gallery for him. It can be seen on his wings though, as the designs he comes up with for them are pretty spectacular (though sometimes Billy's the one who “draws” on his wings for the day, and they're fantastic then too). Teddy's also a great basketball player, even if he doesn't have the height for it and doesn't try to fill out his height anymore. He loves other sports too, but he figures basketball's the only one he can really play without potentially hurting anyone.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
Teddy's learning some hand to hand combat, and his fighting skills are getting a lot better due to partner training with Billy. There's also the Skrull language from Xavin, though he doesn't regularly use it so he forgets some words sometimes. Mia's teaching him how to use field first-aid, so he's getting better at spotting injuries and mostly knows what to do with them now.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
Teddy will fight, though he does everything in his power to incapacitate rather than kill. That's a big policy with him: Young Avengers don't kill. He won't fault anyone else doing so, though he kind of used to. He knows it's a necessity; it's just one he himself refuses to follow through with. He hasn't killed anyone yet, and it won't be very pretty if he ever does.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
While Teddy doesn't go on missions much, he'd usually go with Billy, seeing how they'd worry too much otherwise or get way too lonely. He usually goes on them just to get points to make their lives easier, like getting Billy's camera for his birthday or getting their laptops or other things they might miss or simply can't live without at home.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
Almost a year! And Teddy's just as passionate about going back home as he was when he arrived. He's learned to settle and consider this a second home of sorts, but definitely not his real home, where the rest of his makeshift family and the thing he loves (heroing) waits for him, and he'd still jump at the chance to go back. As stated above, he's more willing to talk about his issues and whatnot, but that's about all that his time in Luceti has done to him. He's just making the most of his situation while he's here.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
Usually just chill at home, spend some quiet time with the boyfriend and hold each other for a good while. That's really all Teddy needs to get back up and going again - he's a very tactile person, and touch really does give him a lot of support. Otherwise, he might just go play video games and yell at the screen or something.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
Teddy hasn't been kidnapped yet! Experiment-wise, he kind of hated the ones that tried to make him straight, even though they didn't work. Valentine's sucked too, seeing how it broke he and Billy up briefly and made them see other people (girls, ahaha). They hooked up before it was over, but all the same! And this recent one wasn't so great either, what with Twila being so awful towards him and being hurt by Billy's being influenced it quite a bit (physically so, anyway). In his opinion, the scavenging hunt was really really cool, what with different costumes and playing something like a game and being able to partner up with his boyfriend. It was just really neat.

36) Anything else you want to note?:
Someday I'll make a post in my musebox with all the little bits of headcanon that I've thought of for him – I'm just too lazy to do so now. Relevant inforation is all in here though!

Also, if anyone wants guitar lessons, he'd be happy to give them! He's a little more used to the teacher role now that he's teaching both Katniss and Prim.

16autumnroad: (thumbs up)

Akimichi Chouji

[personal profile] 16autumnroad 2013-06-20 09:26 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 172.3 cm (~5' 8")

2) Weight: 87.5 kg (~193 lbs)

3) Eye color/Hair Color: dark eyes, light brown hair

4) Age: 17

5) Physical features: red spiral tattoos on his cheeks

6) Voice: Chouji has never met a food he doesn't like, so HERE, go ahead and listen to him nauseate his friends with discussion of some terrible things he finds delicious.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with Masaomi and Shikamaru in an apartment on the 4th floor of CH1. As for chores, Chouji cooks; he made that deal with Shikamaru when he moved in. Other chores get done as they get done. I assume the boys mostly pick up after themselves, take care of their own laundry, etc. If he notices something that needs doing, Chouji will just go ahead and do it. He doesn't haggle over chores.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: ...As previously mentioned, Chouji does a large amount of the cooking, though the others can fend for themselves if he isn't around and they're hungry. His favorite food is Korean barbecue, which is going to be cooked A LOT now that Shikamaru's given him a portable yakiniku grill as a birthday present. Other favorite foods include pretty much every junk food out there. Chouji has never met a food he doesn't like, though, unless it was inedible for some reason.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Chouji works at 7th Heaven as a cook. He also tends to cook at mealtimes in the 4th floor kitchen anytime he's home for a meal. He trains not too far outside the village, and may be found being... well... a giant, because his fighting style involves being able to change the size of his body. He spends some time lazing about the village, too, preferably with a bag of chips, maybe some clouds in the sky to watch, a friend or two for company.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Casual and comfortable. Even when he isn't in armor, he doesn't stray too far from the sort of simple pants and shirt that can be fought in. Chouji is very utilitarian in his fashion choices if we're speaking in an everyday sense. He'll dress up in a show of respect or if Ino bullies him into it, but even then, he sticks with something fairly casual and easy to move in. He respects tradition enough that he will also dress up in more traditional (Japanese) clothing, but only if there is a good reason to do so.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Cooking, eating, watching the clouds with Shikamaru, training. Nothing very new.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: not really, but then, he's only been here a few months.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Chouji almost always has at least a few small weapons with him. Frequently he has at the very least a pouch of kunai (throwing knives), possibly some wire and a couple exploding tags. As soon as he gets around to making a bo, he'll have the staff with him most of the time as well.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: no

15) Who are their neighbors?: all of the ninja The 4th floor is pretty much all ninja in Chouji's age range, with a couple exceptions, but he'd gladly meet anyone else from CH1

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? He hasn't been here that long, so his best friends are still his friends from home, his teammates in particular (Shikamaru and Ino). He sees a lot of them, presumably, considering they mostly live gathered onto the same floor of a single apartment building. He has made friends here, though, and he frequently invites people he likes to dinner, including friends who aren't from home and/or don't live in CH1. He also is likely to ask them to train with him occasionally. And Chouji can be found lazily watching clouds with Shikamaru, eating chips, on a regular basis.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? I don't think so. (I welcome negative CR as well as positive, it just... hasn't happened yet.)

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Seventh Heaven, the convenience store

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? no

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: White with red barring, like THIS, except I'm pretty sure the Malnosso did better than my quick photoshop job when it comes to color. He covers them or cuts holes in shirts, but doesn't pay them much attention aside from when they impact the way he fights or sits.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: nope

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Yakiniku Q, and his clan/family/home.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Not overly neat, but not messy either. He writes in a way that's comfortable, not putting too much effort into it, but always readable.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really, no.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He's used to having his clan and his village to fight for; now he just tries to look after all of his fellow ninja here as much as possible, and his new friends as well.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Not too different, at least within the enclosure.

If so, what are they?: Eating large quantities of food, growing his body (or parts thereof) to several times its original size, hardening his hair into spikes, throwing kunai (knives), cooking, digging large holes

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Not really.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He's willing to kill, and generally sticks with people he cares about rather than striking out on his own. He'll go to Shikamaru for plans most of the time, but otherwise just in general uses his strength to help friends as needed. He's the brawn, not the brains, but he's a fairly good judge of people and willing to work with a team. He can fight on his own if need be, it just isn't his preference.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Chouji needs to go on a mission at some point; he has yet to do so.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Three months. He decided about a month and a half in that there was no use holding off on settling in, so he has. Chouji does think about the things he needs to do when he goes home, his responsibilities there, but while he's here he will make some semblance of a home. The decision was prompted by the fact that he has a mentor and a friend here who have both died in his own world. If that friend can show up and give Chouji a birthday present that would serve as decoration in the apartment, Chouji can hang the decoration and make his room look lived-in. He's also found a job, and discussed with another friend the fact that lives can't be put on hold; he doesn't think it's possible or reasonable to avoid attachments here.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He would probably not eat much. That's a sure sign something is wrong. If something is really wrong, he may dig a giant hole. Eventually, he'll seek out friends. He does this sooner if they need comfort too; it takes a tiny bit longer if it's all for his own sake.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? nothing yet

36) Anything else you want to note?: The way to his heart is through his stomach?

Uzumaki Naruto

[personal profile] believeit 2013-06-20 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
ok here we go

1) Height: Part II has him listed as 166cm / 5'4".

2) Weight: 112lb but I call bullshit on that its gotta be more :|

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes and bright yellow hair!

4) Age: Sixteen.

5) Physical features: He has whisker-like markings on both sides of his face. Combined with the bright yellow hair, black and orange clothing and sometimes yelling, he's kinda hard to miss.

6) Voice: Here is a clip! The way Naruto talks is usually quick and full of energy. He has a sort of verbal tick where he adds -dattebayo or variations of it to the end of sentences. ALSO he's pretty loud- it's pretty common for him to start yelling or even screeching over certain things.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with his parents! As for chores... haha he does them when he gets made to :| typical teenage boy.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: His favourite food is ramen and he would seriously eat it 24/7 if he were allowed. He hates fresh vegetables. He's been seen swallowing frogs and crows, eating paper, flowers and even insects but apparently veggies are a big no-no.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: He trains at some point every day, but aside from that he's either at home with his parents or out and about, goofing off or hanging out with people.

10) Their general sense of fashion: What sense of fashion? He wears orange. :| He's pretty much in his black and orange trousers/jacket most of the time.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: According to databooks, his hobbies are pulling pranks and watering plants. Pranks are still awesome, he hasn't really been in Luceti long enough to pick up more hobbies.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not particularly? The way he views things are pretty much the same as always.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He still has his ninja pouch that contains a few kunai and shuriken and it is usually attatched to him when he's in his regular ninja get-up. Naruto's greatest weapon would be himself though, much more likely to fight someone head-on.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No pets!

15) Who are their neighbors?: UMM. I DON'T KNOW? I know he leaves near-ish Itachi and Law because there was ooc talk about him peeking through windows once 8|

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? His closest friends would be the fellow Konoha kids. Sakura would be the closest as a fellow team mate, followed by the boys Shikamaru, Lee, Neji,Kiba and Chouji. All of which he'll hang out with them when they want him, basically. He considers the other girls really good friends too, Ino, Hinata and Tenten, though he probably doesn't hang out with them much one-on-one.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? If there was someone he didn't like I'm pretty sure everyone know about it, but there isn't anyone like this currently.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: I dunnoooo :v

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? None currently!

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: The wings are bright orange and usually tucked under his jacket.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not yet!

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Konoha itself is what he misses the most.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: It's readable, but not very neat. He'll write mostly like the way he talks and add !!!s and ???s if he thinks it is needed. He hasn't actually used the journal for written replies yet because haha, writing noooo thanks 8|

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nope! What you see/hear/read is what you get.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He is not only going to find a way to return home, but it is going to be a way where dead comrades and parents in Luceti can also return to Konoha and still be alive. He doesn't know how yet, but he will work it out believe it.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's pretty much the same, aside from the magical book things? I dunno, the Naruto world's tech levels are weird, they use computers for medical stuff but send messages via hawks. :|

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: MOM DON'T MAKE HIM GO TO SCHOOL.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He's too young to drink!

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Mostly this revolves around his ninja and combat skills. Pretty much is a bottomless pit when it comes to eating ramen, that counts right?

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Nopeeee.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He hasn't done any yet. He'd have no problem fighting, but he'd probably try to stop the enemy rather than actually killing them, though he'd have no issues doing that too if he thought it neccesary? He is a ninja after all. His reaction really will depend on what those friends that have experience with it, tell him.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? As above he hasn't done any yet!

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: (IE. getting used to the place, not wanting to leave, being less/more inclined to do something about their situation, so on) It's only been a month and a half so he has spent that time adjusting to the place. He knows he has to go home, and wants to go home, but there are important people here that are dead in his own world.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? (IE. do they spend time on their own, go drink away their troubles, confide in their friends, and so on.) N/A but would probably go home, eat and sleep.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? N/A

36) Anything else you want to note?: Umm I don;t think so !

skysung: (mid-gesture / figuring this out)

Skysong "Kitten"

[personal profile] skysung 2013-06-20 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 30 inches long (not including her tail, which adds an extra 15 inches for a total of 45)

2) Weight: Lighter than she looks. She's not difficult to pick up.

3) Eye color/HairScale Color: Her eyes are... silver, I guess. Her scales are typically sky blue ringed/tinged with gold, but they change colors according to her mood or for the purpose of disguise. (pale, almost white, when exhausted, pink when scared, grey when sulking, red when angry, etc., chameleon-like when attempting to be stealthy; mood shifts are involuntary, but camouflage shifts are intentional.)

4) Age: 16, which is still infancy as far as a dragon is concerned.

5) Physical features: color changing scales, long neck and tail, neither of her pairs of wings (her own or Luceti's) is large or strong enough for flight

6) Voice: Whistles, trills, chirps, clicks, and occasional hisses and croaks. For anyone who can actually understand her language, she's a chatterbox. Eager, enthusiastic, full of questions as well as answers. A whole lot of childish curiosity backed by formidable intelligence, 16 years of experience, and a lifetime of raised by people who don't understand her words. Given such a rare opportunity, she will talk your character's ear off.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Saori, Helios, Makie, and Frederic. Kitten does occasional cleaning; if she can manage it with her neatness whistle spells, she'll do it. She also probably magically irons everyone else's clothes if they happen to need it, since she's got a spell to remove the wrinkles from clothes. Other than that, she is relatively dependent on her roommates and most likely begs a meal on a regular basis due to her own lack of cooking ability.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Kitten likes food in general. She especially enjoys trying new things. She would prefer to avoid anything terribly spicy, though. The dragon begs Saori for food more often than anyone else she lives with. This, alas, is the price of luring a dragon home with you by way of groceries.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: School, magical experiments, wandering, visiting the library, possibly visiting the stables, stopping by Seventh Heaven or the bakery so she isn't dependent on her housemates for every meal.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Clothes? What are those? Do they come in dragon sizes? In all seriousness, all Kitten wears is a nametag around her neck that reads "Skysong" (presumably in Saori's handwriting) and occasionally a pouch or bag containing things she thinks she might need for the day.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She reads more here, because there's information from other worlds that she's never had access to. And she's always been interested in magic and learning. School is the biggest new thing; Kitten has never attended classes before.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: A month in, she's mildly more resigned to her fate. She's disappointed in her own inability to escape; Kitten didn't think there was a barrier that could hold her anymore, not unless it was set by gods. (She still goes through sporadic spells of anger and sulking, though. She is just a baby.)

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Nothing that isn't part of her. Kitten's claws are sharp and strong enough to gouge stone, and she has a series of vocally triggered spells that are more than sufficient to defend her.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: nope

15) Who are their neighbors?: Anyone living near House 44???

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Twilight, Saori, Helios, Aang, Xzana. Her roommates she sees at home, Twilight at the library. I assume she sees Aang at school. Xzana, she will seek out occasionally because how can Kitten not like a fellow dragon who joined her on her very first flight and played tag with her in the air?

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Not yet. I'm up for negative CR, though, if anyone has ideas! Kitten gets very angry and defensive if she sees anyone treated unfairly, she's protective of her friends, and she relies pretty heavily on first impressions, so she may hold grudges for awhile.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: anything involving food or learning. So, bakery, Seventh Heaven, library, school. She may like stopping by the stable occasionally because she grew up alongside horses and ponies. Some of her best friends and occasional caretakers have been equine.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? not yet, though she plans on joining magic club now that Helios is talking about starting it up again

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Her wings match her scales, typically sky blue with a slight gold sheen to them but changing color when her scales do.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope. And let's face it, she's only grown 9 inches in length in the past 13 years; she is unlikely to grow too much in her time here.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her family. She misses Daine and Numair, she misses Rikash and Sarralyn, she misses Spots and Cloud and Tkaa. She wants her mama and papa, her siblings, her friends.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: probably fairly stilted, because she can't write under her own power at all. She writes using a spell of Moiraine's, and she's still getting used to using phantom hands (because her own claws just can't grip the pen properly). The most notable difference is that she can write in a universally translated language (thanks, Luceti), whereas her words aloud are unintelligible to those without language abilities of their own.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: She doesn't use the journal system too much, but no. She tries to make bigger and clearer motions when miming on the journal. She is likely to gradually shift more and more toward use of the journal for communication rather than just observation as time goes by and she adjusts to writing.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: not really, no. Kit doesn't have many personal goals aside from staying with the people she cares about, protecting them, and learning everything she can.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Upgrade, and yes. She's been reading about technology in the library to better understand it.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Kitten likes magic and worldsharing best. Writing wavers between being liked and disliked, because she's still getting used to being able to hold a pen but very much likes the ability to communicate in words with those around her. She is in general very enthusiastic, attentive, friendly to her fellow students, appreciative of her teachers, and invested in the work. However, she is also one of the least patient students when it comes to covering information she already knows, and she learns very quickly, so she may get bored sooner than some other students. She sulks when she gets bored, easily frustrated, her scales shifting to a grayish color. Keep her interested, and she's a perfect student. Let her run out of new things to learn or do, even for a single class period, and she verges on childish temper tantrums, unfortunately. Kitten hates being bored.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: N/A

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: magic, magic, and... magic. (See her powers section HERE.) She can carve rough things into stone with her claws? She's also very intelligent and quick to learn. And she can understand pretty much any language, which isn't that important here in Luceti where most things are translated automatically.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Writing! Moiraine did a spell that created false hands for her, so although Kitten has known how to read for years, she is just now figuring out how to hold a pen and how to form letters of her own. It's the actual mechanics that are difficult for her, not the forming of words.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She hasn't been on one yet, but Kitten is willing to fight. She knows she's better suited to it than some people are. She is a long range fighter, and she'll stay hidden and out of reach as much as possible. She is in big trouble if she runs into any power-nullifying Shifters, because magic is all she has. She can shatter bone and weapons with vocal spells, destroy bridges and barriers, unlock doors, breathe fire or call heat to an area... and none of this means anything if her powers are nullified. She's tiny, and strong for her size doesn't mean much. Her physical strength isn't up to hand-to-hand combat. Kitten is ten times more likely to fight if someone she cares about is likewise drafted. She doesn't fight for causes she doesn't believe in, especially at the behest of those she considers her "captors", but she will fight hard and without a second thought for anyone she considers a friend. She will injure and incapacitate when possible, and won't kill unless she's very angry.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She has no real interest in missions unless they involve gaining new information. The points aren't very important to her, nor are physical possessions in general. If someone tells her she can see new places or learn new things, then she'll volunteer. She's likely to attack or at the very least yell at the Malnosso for keeping her in an enclosure, should she meet any of them.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: A month and a half. She's making friends here, but she is not resigned to staying. She tried breaking the barrier around the enclosure but had no luck, so she's regrouping and figuring out her next step.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? It hasn't happened yet, but she would probably curl up on her own until a friend sought her out. She likes physical comfort as well as verbal.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? She loved being possessed by Kipinn, most of the time. She could fly, the spirit's personality was pretty much in line with her own, it gave her an opportunity to finally get out to the barrier to test it. She was angry after the fact because her emotions weren't her own and she couldn't GET angry at her failure to break the barrier, and she also didn't like the way it colored her impressions of people, but on the whole it was an excellent experiment as far as Kit was concerned.

36) Anything else you want to note?: I would really love for Kit to meet some of her fellow students!

1) Height: 5'8

2) Weight: EVEN IF HE HAS A CANON ONE SCREW YOU TOO WEIGHT

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes and black hair.

4) Age: 16-ish. see here

5) Physical features: HE HAS A TAIL. A fluffy demon tail I go out of my way to mention because not all my icons show it. He also has lightly pointed fangs and lightly pointed ears.

6) Voice: He's not in this much tbh but I LOVE this scene and his JP VA

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: House 15 with Shiemi and... Shiemi. Well her and Skarmy, Izumo's fox which I need to figure out the name of and Midori the turtle. Plus a whole forest of plants. Izumo used to live there too. Anyway, he obviously cooks, but I imagine every other cleaning up used to be directed by Yukio and Izumo at different times. At this point I imagine Shiemi keeps up her plants which translates into some cleaning and then they just sort of do it as they can't stand it? idk.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: His favorite food I actually know! It's Sukiyaki. And he obviously cooks. Duh.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Well he is subject to Training with Wolverine, and then he also works at Seventh Heaven when he can logically fit it in, which is usually "all afternoon," then go home and make dinner and eat it with his house, and then "a few more hours in the night." Despite this, he's been thinking about school... for next year. Other than those things, he just sort of hangs out, but both of those are big commitments in and of themselves.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Casual punk-ish. Nothing too hardcore by any stretch of the imagination, but a lot of T shirts, a lot of jeans and shorts. His icons actually reflect a few icons. He wears an apron while cooking.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Cooking is his one productive skill. But outside of that his hobbies include reading manga, a few video games (so the Rec Center in Luceti), and "spacing out" - which is a canon thing for him. Just sort of lurking and looking at nothing.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not... really. He's learned a lot more things, yes, but he's not exactly dramatically changed any viewpoints.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Yes. A sword called Kurikara which he (almost) always has on him, due to it's twofold importance to him.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Ye...es? He personally has a turtle he named Midori which he inherited from someone who went home a long time ago. He also has sort of inherited Izumo's fox and as said before he lives with Shiemi's Skarmy.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Their next door neighbors are the X-Men house (House 16) and across the street there's Beast/Belle (House 17) and Sheena/Suki (House 18) - he has a lot of CR in various forms with House 16, but I'm ashamed to say he barely knows House 17 or 18

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Shiemi's his best-best friend, but outside of her, well... he's good friends with Caius, Cloche, and he used to be good friends with Precis before she vanished. As a result of that he's gotten more in with Pilouette.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Um, hum. Well, he got in an argument with Saten which has never been resolved. Outside of that, not... really that I recall.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Seventh Heaven, obviously. But outside of that, he's in the grocery a lot, as well as the Rec Center now and again, and his own house.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? He works at Seventh Heaven! and being trained by Logan he's sort of an X-trainee.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Blue and... not really. He doesn't do anything special, not really. He just cuts out holes for them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: I actually canon updated him to avoid this because I don't want to commit for an ongoing canon. (unsure)

22) What do they miss the most from home?: EVERYTHING. Everything. All sorts of things, honestly. He misses home constantly, but his twin brother probably tops the list.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Sloppy. Sloppy and lazy, which means his voice is totally different in writing because he doesn't want to write too much. I usually portray it as all lowercase and having some spelling errors to portray the sloppiness.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Other than the writing thing, not all that much, for better or worse.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Rofl well he has a lot on his plate at home so he just wants to go home, period.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Equivalent with some drawbacks, as with the others. ALL OF THEM ARE MODERN EARTH...

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Cooking, like I said. Other than that, he is part-demon and in his full demon form he has a bunch of extra super powers and even out of it he has watered down versions of them.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's learned to cook a few new things, but other than that it's just adding on to his fighting and survival powers via working with Logan.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He will not kill. But he also doesn't want to shy away from the front lines and if it's a cold blood thing he also will prevent other people from killing. He's only been in one draft (Vaskoth) though. This won't change, but we'll see if/when he's in more.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? he refuses to go on missions

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: It's affected him a lot in subtle ways and the ways in which it has have changed over time. Complexes about his powers and strength, complexes about what's going on at home, missing his friends, missing his brother. Making him feel useless because he can't shounen it up here as much. A lot of little things have weighed on him. But ultimately, his core hasn't changed at all despite being here over a year at this point.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Some combination of going to relieve stress by doing some fighting/sparring or just talking it out with someone. He's actually sort of normal unless it's something really terrible.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He wears his heart on his sleeve - a lot of things have hit him hard. Precis dying in that one mission and Vaskoth as a whole were probably the worst. and he doesn't like the indignity of the experiments period, so I don't think he'd admit to liking much of any.

36) Anything else you want to note?: House 15 has a swimming pool between it and House 16.
